“And why should the guards go around the house rattling each and every one's wardrobes?” Beta Edward repeated, staring jaw stuck at me as if I just said the most impossible thing in the world.

He was the best person to come to for help. With it his aid, I knew the jacket will be found and I just have to get him to agree first.

“It's owned by the Hybrid King. I really have to hand it over to him in the next four hours.” There was no use hiding.

I can see him holding back from scoffing, he creased his forehead slightly before he muffled something under his breath.

“You never cease to make trouble.”

I pretended I heared nothing and just followed behind him. Each rooms was slowly turned upside down, yet my eyes failed to pick up the sight of Derek's black leather jacket.

Time ticked by, and even until the whole house was searched, nothing was found.

“Leave her room out. Eva can never steal.” I dismissed them, breathing out as I wiped at my head, on my way back to my room.
