Annoying to falling in love?

It was Monday afternoon and it's day one of Remi annoying Chloe. As soon as class was dismissed, Remi rushed to the cafe. Scarlet and her classmate saw Remi ran out of her classroom in a hurry.

"Is that your friend Scarlet?" Scarlet's classmate asked.

"No. I've never seen her till now." Scarlet pretending not to even get involved in Remi's shenanigans.

"Really? She looked like some sports anime running fast but just In slow-mo to get her good side." Scarlet's classmate added and smiled proudly.

Scarlet hit her in the head and said, "You sport anime nerd, that doesn't happen in real- life?" They looked at Remi running slow-mo and sighed, "Ah, you're right..."

Scarlet yelled at Remi, " Hey! Where are you going?"

"I'm going to visit an angel! See ya!" Remi said enthusiastically.

Scarlet and her classmate had the *what the faq, angel?* expression all over their faces.

As Remi was running there were a bunch of students passing by as usual.

"Is that Remi?"

"She's so pretty, I want her to notice me someday."

"She's really in a hurry. I wonder what happened."

Scarlet was thinking, "Hmmm angel?" *remembers Chloe* "OMG! HAHAHA"

"That girl looks crazy, laughing at nothing..." a student passed by and was looking at Scarlet.

"Yea, ikr." another student added.

"Hey, Scarlet, we need to go." Scarlet's classmate dragging her to the principal's office.

Scarlet thought, HAHAHAHA I swear Remi will definitely...

Remi arrived at the cafe and was excited. She saw Chloe doing her job like a pro. Chloe adopted the work style in Starbucks so it was super easy for her to interact with other customers as well.

"Here's your change Ma'am." Chloe giving out the change to the client.

"CHLOOOEEEEE!!!!! I came to save you!" Remi shouted and the whole cafe was looking at her like she was some kind of idiot.

"What is happening?" The manager immediately rushed from his office to the scene and was super confused.

WHAT THE HECK IS SHE DOING? Chloe tried to keep her composure but the UPC incident made her super annoyed by Remi. "Umm... Remi what are you talking about?" Chloe asked with a fake smile.

"Fear not! I am here to protect you from evil!" Remi sounded so lively as if she was an avenger who came to save Chloe.

Chloe's manager was so shocked and easily believed Remi's words, "WHAT!! Chloe, did you caught up with something dangerous?" The waitress looked at the manager and thought how idiotic he is. The manager got worried and looked the Chloe and was about to cry like a puppy.

"NO NO NO Boss! You're misunderstanding the situation with this lunatic." Chloe trying to clear it up but it doesn't seem to work. She looked at Remi so much discontent and got irritated.

"So what danger is Chloe being protected from?" The waitress joined the party because she thought that it would be fun messing around a little during the job. She played along with Remi's little joke on Chloe.

"Something dangerous!" Remi had a serious expression and made her hands shake as if she was scared as well.

The staff was lost in thought and they all turned to Chloe questioning her telepathically, how did you even find a friend like her?

"It's this caffeine machine!!!!!!!!! WE DON'T WANT CHLOE TO GET BURNED BY HOT WATER!" Remi shouted.

Everyone had a broken expression and their high expectations or thoughts of Chloe being in danger was a false alarm.

"Remi...." Chloe sighed but at the same time, she wants to strangle Remi.

"Yes, so be careful. Now take my order." Remi stands out so much as she ordered.

I swear one day I'll kill this annoying girl, Chloe's thoughts exactly and imagining how she will kill Remi like hitting her by a truck. She murmured and said, "May I take your order ma'am?"

"Ms.! It's Ms., Chloe, I'm not married yet." Remi corrected Chloe and looking down on her.

"Okay fine! Ms. Remi, May I take your wonderful order?" Chloe irked. Well, Remi doesn't even know that she was the daughter of one of the big companies in the region. Chloe still remained humble but she was very displeased by what happened.

"Very good student. Now I shall have something that melts my heart. Or a drink to lighten up my

Mood, Or the drink that will lead me straight to heaven, Or the drink that could lead me to eternal

Darkness, Or..." Remi made an order with such a complex description.

"So you want Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade? Ms. Remi" Chloe said as she emphasized calling Remi miss.

"Hmmm... no no no, that's kind of leads me to natural spring." Remi nodded saying no and corrected Chloe.

"Java Chip Frappuccino?" Chloe asked again.

"I think not..." Remi nodded again as well. Meanwhile, there was a long line of customers waiting for their turn.

"Mocha Frappuccino?" Chloe remained patient.

"That could raise my serotonin, so no" Remi denied.

"Iced caramel Macchiato?" Chloe asked once more.

"Hmm..." Remi was in the mode of thinking the drink best suit her.

"Just pick an order already! We're waiting forever here!" The customers got tired of waiting and yelled at Remi.

"Haaa- Ms. Remi, could you please pick you already." Chloe kept enduring as she stayed professional to the situation.

"Hmm, is this still available?" Remi looked at a limited drink and asked.

"Sadly, that limited drink is unava-" Chloe was about to say that the drink is unavailable as of now but her manager cut into the conversation.

"Yes, it's available. We could give the last one." The manager said.

"But boss-" Chloe looked at her boss and had a face of telling him that they don't have to give Remi special treatment.

"It's okay. I feel like she could be a loyal customer here." The boss smiled as he said that.

"Fine." Chloe sighed.

Remi smirked at Chloe and puts her tongue out. She was on the verge of laughing at Chloe's irritated face. Remi had a lot of fun messing with her. " Then I'll have my seat. Bring my drink personally," She made an L hand sign that meant 'loser' at Chloe. She seated at the table closest to Chloe and continued her statement slowly, "Ms. Chloe..."

"Tch." Is she mocking me?! Chloe was so infuriated by Remi that she is about to explode any minute now but she kept her composure once more and said, "Yes, Ms. Remi."

"Oh yea, you could put my name there by yourself on my cup, hehe." Remi twinkled as she was saying that to Chloe.

"Yes, Ms. Remi." If I could poison this drink, I would if I could grr. Chloe thought of doing witchcraft to do it.

So did her work flawlessly. She put Remi's name on this cup and placed little decorations and all. As she went to Remi's table, Remi said, "Hehe, thank you so much dear for this wonderful drink. For sure I will love it." and yet again, Remi faked a smile at Chloe.

Ahh, that fake smile annoys me so much... Dear? Who are you calling dear? "Thank you so much for the insincerity-" Chloe impassively said.

"What was that?" Remi leering at Chloe.

"What I meant was, thank you so much Ms. Remi for the sincerity, and being our future loyal customer, we will give you the best service here" The both of them were gleaming with all smiles that left everyone in the shop happy... That's what they thought but Chloe and Remi are in for a mental war to see who gets tricked first.

Remi smirked and nods, "Yes, yes as you should."

"Now I shall get back to my post-Ms. Remi." Argh, that lil' how long will she be able to annoy

me? Chloe's thoughts are overwhelmingly running all over the place.

The next day has come and yet Remi never got tired of bullying Chloe. The usual day passed by just as the same as yesterday.

"Chloe! I broke the glass huhu please help me." Remi tormenting.

"Yes, Ms. Remi." Chloe's endurance awed the waitress but she didn't try to bother Chloe and Remi since she kinda' knew that Remi has a thing for Chloe even though Remi is too oblivious to even realize it. Chloe picked up the broken glasses on the floor and clenched her teeth from being not able to do anything.

And the following day after that...

"Chloe! Huhu I saw dirt in my drink."

"Ms. Remi, that's syrup."

"Ohh-" Remi said.

Stupid. Chloe thought.

And the fourth day came,

"Chloe! Get me your manager." Remi insisted on Chloe.

"Why?" Chloe looked at Remi like she's done with this sh*t

"Hoo?" Remi's face had the expression of 'Are you talking back to me now?' written all over it.

Chloe flinched and sighed saying, "Haa- May I know the reason why Ms. Remi?" Chloe came back to her senses and smiled wide at Remi.

"Just get him." Remi seriously said.

What's up with her? Ahh, I hate this. Chloe went back to the shop to get the manager and came back in a rush.

"Yes, Ms. Remi?" The manager asked.

"Sir I called you to say that..." Remi holds her hands together as if she was praying and looked down. Chloe and the manager find Remi very unusual like she was not herself.

As Remi took a deep breath, she said, "To say that you are very handsome and I can see the staff is very grateful to you as their manager."

The staff was super shocked when she said that and they were blown away like dust. They felt so stupid and they find Remi too abnormal.

The manager was quiet for a few seconds and said," OMG! You don't say. Ms. Remi, you are very welcome here every day at our cafe." Remi smiled as if she already planned this one out. The plan is to have the manager on her side.

What the heck, he bought that? Chloe didn't expect that got her blew up a fuse.

Remi smirked at her as she puts out her tongue again. Her face says 'You can kick me out of here anymore, bleh'

This witch! She bewitched the manager! Remi really got Chloe on her nerves. Chloe imagined herself being hulk and Remi was Loki and she tried smashing Remi millions of times.

Five days later...

Chloe visited their stall in UPC. While she was getting some tasks done in school, Remi and her classmates saw Chloe.

"Hey! That girl looks cute." Remi's boy classmate with a perverted face.

"Yea, I wonder if she's a student here" Another boy added.

Pfft, they don't have the right to talk to her like that when I'm here. Remi got pissed but she planned on calling Chloe so that she could brag that they knew each other.

"Hey Chloe!!!!!!!!!" Remi shouts from the distance.

"You know her Remi?" her girl classmate asked.

"Yes, dear. She works at Starbucks near here." Remi grinned.

"I wanna taste your favorite drinks there Remi." another girl classmate said

As Remi was looking at Chloe, she thought of a plan to mess with her again. She smirked with a light bulb above her head that shows that she has a great idea.

"We should definitely visit her guys. She really works hard for her two children. We want to help

those who work hard right?" Remi smiled.

"Yes!! Let's go, you guys!"

Remi's classmates believed her right away and rushed to crowd Chloe in their stall.

"HAHAHAHHA now that made my day" Remi burst out from laughter.

"Hoo? You still making fun of her?" Scarlet came out of nowhere and approached Remi to see what was going on.

"Butt out of my business four-eyes." The usual, Remi still gets annoyed when Scarlet is around because she knew she couldn't beat Scarlet in mind tricks.

Scarlet looked like a Hermione Granger from Harry Potter today and she is feeling fabulous in her outfit. "These glasses suit me right?" Scarlet asked while she twirls her hair around.

"No. You look like a nerd."Remi said with no emotions at all.

Scarlet pouted and said, "Pfft. Now anyways, you've been giving her a lot of attention lately." Scarlet is now curious about what the two are up to these days.

"Am I?" Remi never gives a damn about her actions.

She hasn't realized it yet? Scarlet got suspicious.

"Maybe because I'm....bored?" Remi crossed her hands while watching Chloe at the distance getting all crowded by her classmates.

Yep, she's stupid enough to realize her feelings. Scarlet thought but she wanted to give Remi a hint, "Well, it's like what my mom used to tell me, you'll never realize how much you like someone until they're the only one who's on your mind."

"The fuck? Your mom told you that?" Remi looked so stupid and confused.

Scarlet laughed awkwardly, "More or less. Oh look I think she's waving at you."

They both looked at Chloe in the same direction and Remi thought she was waving at her but she was not. Scarlet just said that to Remi so that she won't continue having the conversation. Chloe was waving a sign to Remi to get her out of her crowded classmates.

What the hell is wrong with her? I'M TELLING HER TO DIE! Chloe's thoughts exactly.

Remi's classmates are still crowding her and telling her to take their orders and asking for her child that Remi was mentioning.

"Ma'am Chloe, here's my donation for your two children."

"What children?! Who told you that?" Chloe said as she was getting all dizzy from their questions.

"Oh, Remi told us to help you." the classmate added.

"That girl-" Chloe got furious and looked at Remi with eyes like knives to stab her.

"Don't worry Ma'am, we'll visit you every day." another of Remi's classmates smiled as she said that.

"REMMMIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chloe yelled so loud at Remi.

Meanwhile, Remi just waved back at her.

Scarlet feels so sorry for Chloe so she said, "HAHAHHA Remi, I think she's not waving."

Remi just ignored what Scarlet said and kept on waving, "Nah, she was waving. You too four-eyes wave her back." she said.

In the end, Chloe got so exhausted and everyone went home.

The following day...

Remi was remembering what Scarlet said the other day while walking to the cafe, "Hmph. Damn that scarlet. She needs to check her eyes again."

Remi going to the cafe became e habit of hers. Every time class dismisses, she would always go find Chloe in the cafe. After many years, Remi never got this happy to be with someone. Even though Chloe is always annoyed by Remi, she still had fun. That goes the same with the staff of Starbucks. The shop became lively as ever from the day Chloe and Remi met.

Chloe leaned towards Remi in front of the cashier and got too close about 5 centimeters close, "Ms. Remi! You've been holding the line. Please move."

Remi suddenly blushed and thought, haaaa- no this can't be.

"Ms. Remi. What would you like?" Chloe asked coldly.

From that moment, Remi instantly ran away. Hmmm... Remi was having many flashbacks from the days she met Chloe.

Meanwhile at the cafe, "What's wrong with her?" Chloe got confused but she continued working.

Remi blushed and remembered what scarlet said at school yesterday but she denied that feeling, "No. This is- I better check again tomorrow. Maybe I was a little tired. I should get some rest."
