Fateful encounter

"You!!!! You're the one from yester-" Chloe bellowed out to Remi and she instantly covered Chloe's mouth with her hands.

Could you shut the F out?! Remi thought to herself as she was getting more nervous because her classmates who knew nothing about what she does at night are right beside her.

"Oh? Remi you know each other?" A classmate of Remi asked.

Remi is getting all anxious while she's glancing at Chloe who looks confused as to why Remi even covered her mouth just for that.

"Uh- I- Ah I don't know her at all. Maybe she mistook me for a famous celebrity or someone that I don't know or maybe an alien from outer space that I don't know either- and..." Remi made it into a joke to avoid any suspicions.

Kowing Chloe's personality, she never liked anyone who is making a fool out of her. She thought to herself while glaring at Remi, An alien is more suited for her rather than a celebrity!! Ahh- maybe she is an alien who disguises herself to be a student by day?! A SCOOP!

Remi's classmate was very confused. " Huh? Okay?" *What is she talking about?* she questioned her mind. "Haha you could be a famous celebrity tho," she added.

"I know I know. Oh please-" Remi puts on a cool face as she said that but she was sweating like crazy.

"Like Miley Cyrus?" Remi's classmate pointing out an example that best represents her.

Remi's cool-face expression suddenly got destroyed "Excuse me, who?" she smiled and asked back.

"Yes yes, you could go wrecking balls" Remi's classmate saying it innocently.

Wrecking balls? What does she mean by that? Remi thought to herself. "What the f- haa... I'm too angelic to be Miley." Remi was so embarrassed that she had an awkward smile while saying that.

"Ohhh? What a coincidence!" Scarlet (coincidentally) shown up (not knowing) that Remi was here all along. Just Scarlet's appearance made Remi more annoyed than earlier. Scarlet smirked at her like she was saying I see you finally met your destiny huh? Remi replied with a pissed-off face saying Fuck destiny, why are you even here dipshit?! The two childhood friends communicating through telepathy. While other people are seeing as if there was a blazing fire behind them.

"Wow... so scary and aggressive Remi" Scarlet had an awkward laugh after that. Remi then replied, "Who are you calling scary, my dear friend?" Remi went back to a kind college girl mode to avoid any suspicions from her classmates.

While lining to get some orders, Remi whispered to Scarlet, "One more word of it and I'll definitely punch your lights out."

"Oh wow, Remi I almost forgot you're here. I was busy picking my order. Such a coincidence. I thought you were going to church." Scarlet smiled back to Remi to get back at her.

*That's the shittiest excuse I've ever heard in my 19 years of existence* Remi thought to herself and imagined strangling Scarlet in the process.

"Oh no, no Scarlet." Remi still kindly faked a smile at Scarlet but at the same time, she was nervous. "It's literally Monday. There are no church services on Mondays," she added and looked at Scarlet grinning to make her embarrassed herself because of the lousy excuse.

"You got to church often Remi?" Remi's classmate asked and wondered why.

There Remi realized that Scarlet said that not because of the day but because she said that she was angelic and her classmate just bought that excuse for she thought that Remi regularly goes to church.

Scarlet laughed so much in her mind while watching Remi embarrassed herself. Meanwhile, Remi got angry but said "Sometimes..." with an (angelic smile) on her face.

"Umm- are you all going to order or-" Chloe asked. Everyone was so hanged upon their conversation that they forgot to order.

"Oh yes yes I'll order Matcha," Scarlet ordered her favorite drink while having a wholesome smile at Chloe.

"I'll have the..."

"then I should have..."

So Remi's classmates continued to order as Remi was wondering what will she have. She was getting some money from her pocket but it turns out she completely forgot to bring money in the first place and left her wallet in their classroom. Luckily she has her book with her when she went out but she wondered why did she even brought her book when they don't even have exams in the first place. Remi was relieved because it was a good thing no one mentioned it. She always puts some bills inside her book that serves as a bookmark. She also puts some money inside her shoe for emergencies. Remi has the attitude that she will never ask for money from her classmates so she was prepared when times like this happen.

Chloe looked at Remi as she was taking out some cash from her book and shoe secretly, and was weirded out. Even though Remi was the cool kid in the group, Chloe broke a laugh and realized that Remi has something to be shy about. "What will you have Ms.?" Chloe asked Remi.

As Remi looked at the menu, the discounted drinks since her money are limited. She then glared at Chloe and said, "I'll have that 2in1 limited edition cafe."

"Noted. Anything else?"

As Chloe was taking Remi's order. A guy popped up out of nowhere asking Chloe to name his cup. "Miss, can I have your name in my cup?"

Remi looked at him annoyingly.

"Uh- no sir. Haha, it should be your name written there so that I can call you." Chloe trying to handle it nicely to avoid any problems.

"You can call me anytime if we exchange numbers." The guy said as he disgustingly looked at Chloe while Chloe was feeling uneasy.

Remi was the tip of her snowy mountain and the guy made her an avalanche. Remi was so pissed off and super furious. She thought to herself, What the- Fucc- I should kill him later?! Remi was trying to keep her composure because she doesn't want to destroy her reputation.

Scarlet was with her own friends in the class glancing at Remi and Chloe and almost laughed so hard at the situation. Hmm, hahaha Remi's face has "Don't touch my girl" written all over it. She thought to herself while drinking her Matcha drink.

"No, thank you sir hehe." Chloe smiled so bright that the guy was blinded by her light and he looked beside him was a demon ready to bring him to hell. He was so scared by Remi's intimidating look that he went back to his seat.

"Anyways, HEY REMI! Ya'll take your seats already." Scarlet called Remi and her classmates.

As they took their seats, as usual, Remi's classmates still trying to get Remi into their attention because she's popular and all while Remi is still glaring at Chloe.

Scarlet saw Remi's act and happily said, "Hoo- you're really out lately Remi."

"Of course I am. That girl saw us last night. She could report us anytime." Remi whispered at Scarlet.

"Chillax homie. She won't. "

"Why? We can't trust her."

"We can. Look at her." Scarlet waved at Chloe and showing Remi how pure Chloe is. As they both look at her, Chloe was shining with lots of glitters. "That's what you call angel sent from heavens," Scarlet said enthusiastically.

Wow.. amazing, yet useless reasoning. Remi thought to herself.

Scarlet nodded as she thinks that she is a genius at grasping a person's personality. "Yes, yes. And you're a devil at night lurking through the woods," she added.

Scarlet's provocation made Remi so irritated that they had a mutual assault. In the public's eye, they thought the two of them are having a friendly girl fight and see how wholesome their friendship was. While they were fighting, Chloe looked at them like a dog vs. Cat duel.

As soon as everyone has finished their drinks and small talks, they all went home.

"Okay, I'll be heading elsewhere. See ya!" Scarlet said and ran out.

"Begone witch!" Remi said as Scarlet was leaving.

After then, Remi was planning on staying outside the cafe for a while.

It was 10 P.M. and the shop was about to close.

"Yes! Closing time whoho!" The waitress said.

"I'll be heading home first." Chloe waved goodbye as she was about to leave.

"Okay! Oh, by the way, look out for that girl outside. She looks like she's waiting for someone." The waitress said while looking at Remi outside the cafe.

"What girl-" Ohh she's the one from earlier and last night. Chloe waved once again to the crew and went outside to see Remi.

"Hey!" Chloe making the first move.

Remi looking up at her with the usual angry face of hers.

"Were you waiting for me aren't you?" Chloe asked.

Remi still stayed quiet while standing up to face her.

"Just head home. I won't tell anyone what happen last night." Chloe trying to assure Remi that she won't tell a soul.

Remi grabbed Chloe's hand and walked in a hurry. She pulled her into a dark corner and pushed her against a wall. Basically, Remi was doing a kabedon to Chloe.

"Argh- what are you-" Chloe got angry but was scared a little.

"Hoo- I don't trust you one bit. You might look like an angel but you can't fool me." Remi saying it seriously.

"Angel? What do you-" Chloe asking to clarify things.

Remi realized how embarrassing her statement was and got flustered a bit. "I mean- Don't try deceiving me one bit. I'll keep a close eye on you." Remi said.

Chloe got confused and was thinking about why Remi said that. After 3 seconds, she realized something and said, "Ahh. I think you mean I look pretty don't I?"

Remi blushed and thought The heck is wrong with her? She's being too confident. She said, "No. Anyway. That's all I want to say. Bye."

"Ah wait-"

"You have more to say to me?"

"Not really but- I think you're quite different from when you were with your classmates." Chloe wanted to make sure of what Remi really is.

"What do you mean?" Remi asked.

"It looks like you're trying to impress them and when you're with those gangsters last night, you looked like you were free from a cage," Chloe said with a straight face and smiled.

Remi looked speechless and turns away.

I don't know why but I could feel like we're on the same boat. Chloe thought to herself as she was looking at Remi's back walking away.

As Remi was walking home, she was remembering what Chloe said.

"She doesn't know anything."

The following day was UPC Day. There was a game for football girls where Remi joined it. Many fangirls were screaming and cheering for Remi before they play.

"Time for payback," the opponent from the other department said.

"You can't touch me HA HA. I'm the definition of speed." One of Remi's teammates confidently said.

The game was ongoing and it's really played well having Remi as their ace. Remi looked cool despite having so much sweat, she kicked the last goal and they won. She went back to get a drink. There were a lot of stalls around the football field so she was planning to buy some snacks.

Scarlet approached Remi with slow claps to congratulate her on their victory. "How expected. You could finish the game earlier tho."

While drinking, Remi said, "Nah- it's more fun to make the game longer."

Fans of Remi instantly ran to her which made Scarlet take a step back since it's crowded. Boys and girls are pestering Remi. They keep on asking for an autograph which made her annoyed but she had to keep up with a smile.

"Oh my- someone might get hurt. Please don't push yourselves." Remi said with a cute expression.

"How can a perfect person exist?!" A fangirl shouting.

Scarlet thought to herself, yea right.

"Umm- Hi Remi! I would like to-" Another one from her fans trying to get Remi's attention.

"Yes, dear?" Remi looked at her with the usual smile.

"Here's some milk tea!" the fangirl said with embarrassment.

"OMG! Thank you so much. You're such a sweetie." Remi said while patting her head.

The girl faints and many are still screaming and crowding Remi.

"Oh, yea- we have stalls here. I should go ahead first guys" Remi said so that she could get herself out of there.

"Wanna check them out with me Remi?" her boy classmate asked her.

"Sure!"

They ran from the fangirls and boys and looked around to some stalls. As they were looking around, Remi saw Chloe from their stall.

Ohh- she's in charge of this year's stall? Remi thought to herself while looking at Chloe with something planned into her mind.

"Look Remi, you wanna-" her boy classmate inviting her to get something to eat or drink.

"I'll see you later, I have something to do Lucas," Remi said to him and flashed away.

"But my name is John," he said and sighed. Ahh, she left.

Remi walked straight up to Chloe and said, "Look who we have here."

Chloe ignored Remi so that she can focus on her work. "One dark choco, coming right up!"

"Hey! You're ignoring me?" Remi irked.

Chloe still continued to ignore Remi as she remembered how indecent she was last night, pushing her to a wall and all of that. "What would you like Ma'am?"

"I'll have-"

Remi got so irritated. Screw this. I'll just have to- She leered and said, "My mommy is not giving me

money to eat huhu" She faked a tear on her face. Well, she was one of the best actors in their department.

Random people around abruptly gossiped.

*what is she a teen mom*

*how shameful of her*

*poor girl*

"What the heck are you saying?" Chloe said as she was trying to clear up the misunderstanding to customers. Meanwhile, Remi had a devilish smile and thought of something more fun.

Chloe really didn't mind it cuz it's too childish to even bother it. "Haa- what do you want?" she glared at Remi asking.

"I have decided!" Remi grinning.

"What? Can you not bother me? I'm working." Chloe got irritated.

"He-he. I will and I shall be a bother to you 24/7 starting today."

"HAAAAAAA?" Chloe shouted at Remi with all confusion.

I thought I'll live a peaceful life.
