Sa loob ng dalawang taon, hindi akalain ni Jessy Flores na lokohin siya ng asawang si Philip Montana sa araw pa mismo ng wedding anniversary nila.  Simula rin ng araw na iyon ay nakipaghiwalay siya sa asawa at nagpasyang pumunta ng Baguio kung saan, muling nagkrus ang landas nila ng kaibigang si Niko Alonzo na siyang handang bumuo sa nawasak niyang pagkatao.   Paano kung bawiin siya ni Philip mula kay Niko? Manunumbalik pa ba ang naglahong pag-ibig para sa dating asawa? O haharapin si Niko at kakalimutan si Philip na unti-unting nagising sa katotohanang mahal pa siya nito?

"You left without saying a word, Ciana. Hinanap kita, naghintay ako. Umasa akong babalikan mo 'ko dahil baka sakali na maisip mo ako," napatitig ako sa mga mata niyang kulay kayumanggi ngunit lumuluha. Nasasaktan ako Ciana, kahit sorry man lang galing sa mismong bibig mo wala akong natanggap." Tinitigan ko siya ngunit ako mismo ang nasaktan nang umaagos na ang luha sa mga mata niya. "I'm sorry," mahinang sabi ko. "This is not the right time to do that, because I can't f-forgive you for l-leaving me." Malamig niyang sabi ngunit bakas ang hirap sa pananalita. "Mahal kita at nakalimutan kong may gusto ka nga pa lang iba," hindi ko siya makapaniwalang tinitigan dahil sa sinabi sa akin. "I'm leaving." Paalam ni Mateo tapos tumango at lumabas na ng kwarto.
