For some reason, I knew Clara’s suspect was the same as mine and we were just waiting for confirmation. “Do you have anyone in mind?” Clara finally asked, her voice low. When I met her gaze, I saw the same unease I felt reflected in her eyes. “Let’s just hear her out first,” I said, offering a reassuring smile. The door opened, and I turned just in time to see Serena being led inside, her hands cuffed in front of her. She was forced into the chair across from us.
