Seraphine was shocked. She knew that Alpha Daven was dangerous, but not to this extent. Just then, something came to her mind. "You're a rogue returning to a pack you ran away from, wouldn't you be punished?" She asked Gareth. He chuckled. "You're the one heading to Redwood Pack, Luna, not me," he said. Seraphine raised a brow at him. "So what do you intend to do when we get there?" "I was planning on leaving Luna. I was only given the task of taking you there, not going in with you." Seraphine kept thinking about what he said. There was something that wasn't adding up. He was a rogue who harbored hatred for her and was let into the pack. There was no way he snuck in. "You were made a guard, by whom?" She asked him. He was silent at first, but then he spoke up. "By Beta Theon." "Was the Alpha King aware that his trusted friend and ally let someone who hated his Luna into his pack?" Gareth's eyes widened. He moaned as he tried to sit up properly. He was still hurting from her assault.

Seraphine and the members of the Bloodmoon pack followed Stark and his men. He led them through the woods and to the pack house. The Redmoon pack wasn't as huge and grand as the Bloodmoon pack, but the buildings looked like they were being remodeled. But what caught Seraphine's attention the most were the people in tattered clothes who were carrying bricks. There were also people dressed like Stark's men who had whips in their hands. An old man crouched down, trying to catch his breath. All of a sudden, a guy dressed in black let down his whip on him with full force. "How dare you?!" He yelled as he whipped the old man again. Seraphine's eyes widened, and her people gasped at the sight of it. She wanted to ask what was going on, but she knew exactly what it was. During her travels with her parents, she heard rumors that this was how the witches treated the rogue wolves that entered their lands. They made the men work and made the women their sex slaves. Seraphine's hand flew to her mouth. She thought Daven had gotten the scar in battle. She didn't think the previous Alpha King did that to him. "I'm sure it wasn't easy for the two of you," She said to Elaina. Elaina forced a smile on her face. "It wasn't. Daven struggled alone, but now he has me by his side," She said. Seraphine smiled back at her, thinking that Daven was lucky to have a mate like Elaina by his side. Just then, a knock came at the door. "I'll get it," Elaina said as she walked towards the door and opened it. Elara stood in the doorway. "Hello, Luna," She said to Elaina before her eyes locked with Seraphine. "Thank Moon Goddess! I searched for you everywhere! I was so worried, Sera! I thought something bad happened to you," She said as she walked into the room. Seraphine stood up and hugged Elara. "Luna," he said, bowing towards Seraphine. He looked worn out, his hair covered his forehead and almost half of his face. "What in the world happened to your face?" she asked with concern. "It's nothing. I just had a run in with Stark and his men, they aren't forgiving about me running away from their pack,"he replied. "They touched you even though you are my guest?" Dread and indignation filled Seraphine as she clenched and unclenched her fists. She felt insulted. Causing harm to any of the people that came with her was almost like causing harm to her directly and could even be considered an act of treason, and they didn't seem to mind. As the fight went on, the number of rogues gradually reduced. Seraphine caught sight of Alpha Daven in an intense fight with one of the masked men. His hungry eyes were on her as he let out a low growl. Another one pulled Seraphine to the side. He had a gruff and somewhat familiar accent and a scent that she couldn't place at all. "Take your people and leave. We will take care of the rogues." Seraphine looked at him confused, "Who are you people ? And, why are you helping? " She didn't finish her question because at that moment, the masked man in front of her threw his dagger at a rogue coming up behind her. "Leave now!" He yelled and went back into the fight. Seraphine turned to the rest of the fight. Gareth was in the middle of fighting two strong but dirty wolves at the same time. He seemed to be holding his own against them, but it was very obvious he was already getting tired.
