Samantha's POV:The next morning I realize that Alpha Hughes is still in bed. I take this opportunity to study his facial features more thoroughly. Like his simple beardwhich he never shaves .His eyebrows are scrunched even in his sleep, it’s as if he’s dreaming of killing someone . His skin is flawless. In all honesty, he’s handsome. But how can someone so perfect, be a murderer? I decide that even if I do absolutely nothing today, I should still put on some clothes.I don’t feel like showering this morning, so I’ll do it tonight. Samantha's POV:Emily makes sure that the driver doesn't tell Alpha Hughes about the visit. Goddess knows he'll be in as much trouble as me. The pack house is in view in about twenty minutes of driving. When we get out of the town car Emily reminds me not to tell Alpha Hughes. Then I remember my question for her. "Do you know anyone named Michael?" Ouch. Someone pushes me against a wall. I can tell by the scent it's Alpha Hughes. "Samantha, what do you know about Michael?" His deep voice presses against my neck."U-Um, I don't know anything. He j-just told me to t-tell you he-he says hello." I choke out. Alpha Hughes stares me in the eyes. "What did you tell him?" I don't answer. "WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?" He yells. "I didn't tell him anything, he read my thoughts." "What the hell were you thinking?" For a long time I try to string the right words together. Samantha's POV:We finally arrive at around six o'clock. Alpha Hughes has hidden weapons all over him incase the witches try something. We walk over to a small cabin. A teenage lady sits on her porch. "Jack Hughes? Surprise, Surprise!" I assume she's Elizabeth."Hello, Clara, is Elizabeth here?" Alpha Hughes questions. "She's in the backyard playing. I'll show you to her." Samantha's POV:I open my eyes. They're instantly blinded by the silk curtain being wide open, welcoming in the morning sun. This is my favorite part of the morning, when you first wake up. Who knows what adventure the day holds? "Keep your head up! Do you think that you'll know where to punch if you're not looking?" Alpha Hughes yells. Just like the day before, we're training. Samantha's POV:The woman and her kid We met at the restaurant ,made me think about kids. And thinking about kids made me think about names. I always adored the name Nick. For a boy of course, for a girl maybe Kayla. The dream was to have two kids, or no kids at all.I never wanted to go through the pain of birth. People die from giving birth. Not until recently, the idea of actually parenting a kid, sounded sweet. Genelia told me that birth is only temporary, it ends.
