EmThe next couple of weeks came and went. It was getting very cold.. almost snowy. Em loved it. After living in California, snow was a new thing for her. Although she had been skiing and vacationed where it snowed… she had never experienced it from home before. She was getting better every day. Her bruises were healing… her body was getting stronger. She couldn’t wait until she was able to dance again. She had to miss the competition she had practiced so hard for, but she still went and cheered the team on. EmHalloween had come and gone while Em had been in the hospital. She hated that she missed it because it had always been one of her favorite holidays. She and her brother would always dress up and she would take him trick or treating. They hadn’t got to celebrate last year either, because so much was going on. So Em was a little bummed.
