And I had no mate to hope on now that mine had rejected me.A couple of hours into the start of the new day and I was outside, holding unto a small bag containing the few possessions I owned, slung over my shoulders as I made sure to stick to the shadows of the Alpha's mansion, crawling stealthily away.The glow of the moon was bright as it was a full moon. The night was chilly and eerily silent as though invisible ghosts watched my escape mission with bated breaths, cheering me on silently to be victorious. This was a silly thought but it strengthened me.Once I got to the main road, I looked back at the looming mansion now a reasonable distance away from me. Every light remained switched off, and there was no commotion or loud voices coming from it. I hadn't been noticed.
