Once I had taken care of the guest room, sweeping the floors, dusting and tidying up everywhere, I was finally able to think and cry. It should have occured to me long ago to do this. I had nothing to lose, nothing to hold me back. And I had no mate to hope on now that mine had rejected me.A couple of hours into the start of the new day and I was outside, holding unto a small bag containing the few possessions I owned, slung over my shoulders as I made sure to stick to the shadows of the Alpha's mansion, crawling stealthily away.The glow of the moon was bright as it was a full moon. It was a bright and clear morning as I gave him a goodbye peck and stepped out of the car to my work place, waving goodbye to my son in the backseat.
