Laurel's pov: Our flat was at the end of the hallway so as we were getting closer to it I told him that it was alright and he could hand it over to me. He was hesitant at first. "Where is your flat?" He asked. "There is no need to know,you can just give it to me thank you." I said taking the bags from him. "Thank you again." I said as I turned to leave. "Do you live here,I didn't get your name." I told him. I should at least get to know my neighbors even though I barely go out to interact. I knew most of them but not all. "Yes I just moved downstairs last week, Alex is my name. Laurel's Pov: I was anxious and tense when Noah, my husband , took his briefcase and stepped out of the door and left for work. I waited till I was sure he waa gone and so I rushed to pack my important documents and a few clothes into a bag and I also packed Tracy's belongings and I took her hand and walked out of the apartment and locked the door and took a cab to the arranged destination, which was an abandoned warehouse. When I got there I met my parents there. My Mom was so happy that she ran into my arms. “Oh Laurel, I am so sorry for all you have endured,” My mother's words rang in my ears as she cried on my shoulder. Even though I had mixed feelings about how I felt about my parents, they are the only way that I could get out of this situation. My Father walked closer to us and patted me on the shoulder while my mother knelt down to hug Tracy, my daughter. After the greeting and hugs, my mother took Tracy into one of the rooms and kept her there with our backpack.

Laurel povI walked into my room and rested my back on the door and I slowly slid down to the floor and crawled up with my knees up and my hands holding my kneel.I buried my face inside my knees and began to silently cry.I wasn't crying because my parents died ,I was crying because I knew that what Noah said was true. I didn't want to believe it at first ,but I heard my parents making some calls after they tied me up in the chair and there was nothing I could do but I was hoping that It wasn't true, maybe I wish that I would be killed and rest.I sighed and stood up, no matter how much I tried to make Noah out to be the bad guy, I knew that he was better than the men I will meet out there.I have already gotten involved with him , I don't think there was any way I could escape this life now.I walked to the closet and opened it and saw that he had my clothes from our old apartment here and I scoffed.Noah must have known that I was making arrangements to run away ,but he didn't eve

Laurel's pov:Maybe I was even just like my parents but I honestly didn't care about anybody else but myself and my family.I did not even feel bad that my parents were killed by Noah ,because I know that they actually wanted to sell me off to someone else if Noah didn't show up or is they managed to kill Noah my husband. When I found out about their plan there was nothing else I could do ,because my daughter Tracy was already with them and they were with guns so there was nothing I could do, since l came there empty handed.Such parents deserve a cruel death.I thought it was the end of it but the masked man who killed my uncle and his family and I know he is a rival gang of Noah ,sent me another video telling me that he didn't know I was such a cold-hearted woman and I decided to show the video to Noah and tell him what happened.“I did not want to bother you before because of what happened between us, but I don't know how he got my new phone number,” I told Noah who was still watc
