*Vera’s POV**“You useless Omega bitch!” My stepfather Derek roared, yanking a fistful of my hair.“No! Father, please!” I screamed, tears filling my eyes as pain shot through my scalp. My scream shocked them so much that they jumped away from each other.“Amanda? What are you doing here?” Derek asked in surprise. “How- when did you get here?”I barked out a dry laugh. “Oh you didn’t hear me enter? I guess it was hard to hear over the sound of you cheating on me with my own sister!” I snapped.“Correction, step sister.” Amanda interrupted with a proud smirk on her face.
