Catherine’s POV Alexander lay unconscious on the floor, his body limp and unmoving and beside him, Simon wheezed, struggling for breath. It all felt like a nightmare, a big terrifying night mare. Just then, the door swung open, it was Olivia, her eyes wide with shock as she took the chaotic scene in. She glanced from Alexander to Simon, “What did you do?” Olivia demanded, her voice cracking. “I didn’t do anything,” I said, trying to keep my composure despite the fear and panic gnawing at me. “Simon stabbed him with a syringe and was going to shove him in a box. I had no choice but to use the same syringe on him.” Olivia’s gaze switched to Alexander, her face burned with deep, painful concern as she rushed to Alexander’s side, bypassing Simon, her hands trembling as she knelt beside him. “Oh, my dear Alexander,” she murmured, her voice breaking with emotion.
