Darwis's POV I don't know why I was thinking for a long time, as if something had made my mind go blank so I didn't hear the cashier's call. "Mr. Darwis, this is Miss Kayra's total payment," he said in a loud voice and made me realize. "Ah, fine," I answered while handing him the debit card. Not long after, the cashier gave me my card back and a receipt for payment of Kayra's hospital fees. I sighed again and walked with heavy legs towards Kayra's room. When I entered, I saw Kayra who had changed out of her hospital clothes and was applying make-up to her still pale face. "Kayra, are you ready to go home?"
