Kate's POV

That morning, sunlight slipped in through the gaps in the curtains, forcing me to open my eyes. After a long night of crying and confused thoughts, I felt tired and confused.

“It's only a matter of days, but why are there still problems? As if the sky didn't want to let me end everything well. I just wanted to spend time with her, but that woman kept leaving me behind. It's as if everything was planned well," I muttered and cried again lamenting my very sad fate.

My weak body made me reluctant to get out of bed. I just daydreamed looking at the white ceiling of the room. Not a single dust stuck to it.

I turned towards the window which was not covered with curtains, letting in the already high sunlight. It used to feel like the warmth of the sun always made me excited to start the day. But now it only makes me feel sicker.
