Alex's POVI was sitting in the corner of the training yard, wiping the sweat from my brow as I watched Alexis finish her last round of drills as well. She has been pushing herself above her limit ever since we got to the Greenwolf Pack, training harder than I had ever seen her before. It was almost like she was trying to punch the memories of our parents out of her system and preparing for war. I couldn’t blame her. These past few months have been quite eventful. She had gone through a lot at Kane's pack and also learned a lot of things about our parents. I leaned my head back against the stone wall, trying to let my mind go blank for just a few minutes. I needed to shut it all out. Everything wasn't working well at the moment. Even I and Alexis has been sort of distant. She has pushed herself away from me and I doubt she still wants to be my mate not even when we have no solid findings about our biological parents. I couldn't push things with her and I just see how it plays out.
