AMBER’S POV“Argh!” I cried as I tried to bear the pain. The pain had become unbearable for me. I cried on the way to the Rage beast pack.“You’ll be alright, madam,” a soldier said.“Thank you. Is the palace still farther away?” I asked impatiently.“Yes, a little bit farther. Why don’t we kill time? You could tell us about where you’re from. I’m sure you don’t mind, right?” He asked.“No no, I don’t mind,” I said with a faint grin on my face.I’ll have to cook up a story I can use to convince them that I’m actually not an enemy or else they won’t hesitate to behead me and kill my child, I thought.“Judging from the fact that you’re an alpha, this is totally strange. A pregnant alpha wandering all by herself,” the second soldier added. With what he said, I was able to cook up a perfect story that they won't have objections to.“You see, I’m an alpha and princess to a small pack. An unpopular pack. You won’t happen to know any claw pack, will you?” I asked, hoping they wouldn't know.
