(Evelyn’s POV)I was sitting in my room when suddenly the air in the room shifted, growing cooler. A familiar shimmer of light appeared before me and when I looked up, my eyes widened. The old lady stood there, her white gown glowing faintly, her smile serene.“Y-you’re here,” I stammered, relief washing over me. I stood quickly, ready to pour out everything that had been weighing on me. “I’m so glad you came. I need to tell you…” The lady raised a hand, stopping me mid-sentence. “I know…I know everything. Your fears, your worries, your doubts... I see it all. That is why I am here” She said gently, her voice calm yet powerful. I froze, my heart pounding. 

(Alexander’s POV)“What happened?” I asked, my voice firm yet tinged with unease as I scanned the room for any immediate threat.Evelyn stepped closer, her hands trembling slightly as she gestured toward the bed. On it lay a scroll made of old parchment, its edges frayed and its surface glowing faintly with an otherworldly light.“This... this appeared out of nowhere,” Evelyn said, her voice low but trembling. “I was just sitting here, going through the book Veronica gave me, when it materialized in midair and dropped onto the bed” I frowned and approached the bed cautiously, my sharp eyes studying the mysterious scroll. It exuded a strange energy, one that was neither entirely threatening nor reassuring.

(Alexander’s POV)Three days have passed since I announced a battle with Kael…One night, I was startled awake by my strong instincts, even before a frantic mindlink from a patrolling pack member arrived."Alpha King, we’re under attack! The borders have been breached!" I didn’t waste a second. I immediately mindlinked the entire pack. "Everyone to your positions. Evelyn, Ashley, Alaina, Brian, Chris, meet me outside the mansion. Move quickly!"Within moments, the pack grounds were alive with movement. Evelyn emerged beside me, dressed for battle, her eyes glowing faintly with power. Ashley and Alaina followed, their expressions tense but determined. Brian and Chris flanked me, their sharp senses scanning the horizon.
