The scent of breakfast fills his nose the moment he steps into the hall, letting the Alpha know exactly where his mate is. Atticus chuckled and reached up, holding his mate's face and kissing Harris. The larger Alpha's eyes twinkled as he looked at Harris. “Baby, you're so adorable! I love them both! I'm impressed with how wonderful your cooking is! I haven't met many Alpha's that knew how to cook.” Atticus wanted to squeeze Harris when he watched his little Alpha blush. They were still just as beautiful as he remembered. “I missed looking at these hills.” “Why haven't you come back until now?” Lana asked as Adonis lifted his arm and tucked her against his side. She felt deeply hurt that after all this time, her cousin was indeed alive and he never came back until now. She missed all those years with him, and she wouldn't have if he would have just come back. “I was afraid of what I would find. I was afraid to see this place the way it was and to see everyone dead. Donain was sent to look after me. He came back a year later and told me there was no one left alive. He told me this place was destroyed and there was not

I'm a …” “Adonis hush, I like the cute little Omega wolf,” Lana tugged on Adonis from behind. “What's so cute about him? I'm not a damn pony!” Adonis growled but Noah paid him no attention. Over there is where we have our monthly celebration. The whole pack gets together to celebrate the full moon and give thanks to the Moon Goddess.” Atticus said as he watched Lana and Adonis take in their surroundings. “I don't know if you remember, but we used to have our celebration for the Goddess once every 3 months. That's when our submissives went into heat. The entire day the sky would be full of dragons doing their mating dance, calling to their mates and trying to seduce them. At night everyone flew together before lighting up the sky with fire, giving thanks to the goddess.” Adonis looked up at the sky as he remembered how magical their celebrations were. “Yes, I r

Chapter 118 Willing to Listen

Third Person's POV Stepping through the portal Lana smiles at the beautiful apartment Atticus gave them. It wasn't anywhere near as grand or extravagant as the castle once was, but compared to what she'd been living in for the past 500 years, it seemed just as extravagant. Dragons are used to and love beautiful things. Dragons especially love jewelry and love to see submissives decorated in gold jewelry and precious stones. Art, vases, gold, and other colorful things decorated the halls of the castle. Dragons were obsessed with things they found beautiful and wanted to display them or wear them. The shinier, the more colorful, the more beautiful, the better. They had celebrations just so they could dress up their dragons in gold armor, and colors they favored. Lana has enjoyed her cozy little cabin, but seeing the beauty of this home reminds Lana of a time that is long gone. It's bittersweet, but somehow it makes her feel closer to home than the cabin did. Which is strange for the p

Chapter 119 Sky Ponies

Third Person's POV Lana scooted closer to her mate and Adonis lifted his arm, tucking her against his side. It was bad enough being around so many people, but it was even worse with everyone looking at them while Atticus spoke. It helped a little that everyone looked at them curiously and excited, instead of judgmental or angry that they were there. Lana was startled when she felt someone grab her arm. Lana looked to her right and saw the little Omega hooking his arm with hers as he smiled at her. Lana smiled back, she thought River was adorable. She likes how it seems the wolf Omega's are no different than Omega dragons. They're small and delicate compared to the other ranks and they flock to other omegas. Although these Omega's seem to really like her for some reason. Lana is surprised the fluffy little white-haired Omega isn't here hanging off of her other arm. “Hi!” A voice startled Lana and she jumped and she looked forward. “I'm Tristan! I was Atticus' Beta before we came h

Reid reached out and shook the warrior's hand. “It's a pleasure to meet you! We're very happy Atticus has found more of his kind.” Reid said and then reached back and pulled Julian forward. “This is my Luna, Julian,” Reid said proudly as he smiled down at his little Luna.
