　　Elsie's POV 　　Training at night had become far too familiar for me. Back in the Autumn Pack we always met at sunrise, the crack of dawn to meet the trainer and get to work. That always felt too safe, I wanted to have a constant threat surrounding me so I would always be alert, in the darkness.　　The more I thought about my training at the Autumn Pack, the less I remembered. Each day the memories of what I learnt faded away. All I was left with was the negative comments from Rory after each session, telling me I would never be strong enough to be a warrior.　　But after my secret training sessions at the Summer Pack, doing it at night time felt far more exhilarating. 　　Elsie's POV　　I felt all my worries leave my body with the slow exhale as I lay back into the bath Oris had drawn.　　Soapy bubbles lay on the surface of the water, covering my body, and the warm water felt like a comforting hug all around me.　　I closed my eyes and let my thoughts run away with me, removing all the negativity from my troubles. 　　Kai's POV　　Shifting into our wolf forms, Brutus and Rex would be quicker to travel through the forest, heading East as the Doctor directed us. I sure hope he was telling the truth.　　I didn't like being played, no one made Kai look stupid. No one.　　Reaching the edge of the forest, we saw the moonlight shine through the space in the trees as the area became more open at the entrance, so we shifted back into our human forms upon reaching the mouth of the forest.　　"That's it," Theo said as his eyes focused on the house in the near distance. 　　Theo's POV　　Shifting back into my human form, the taste of Rory's blood resided on my tongue. I tried to calm myself, my chest heaving as I steadied my quickened breath.　　"Fucker got away!" 　　Elsie's POV　　Theo and Kai had been gone for a while, and although I knew they were okay, I still felt concerned for their safety.
