　　Elsie's POV　　Stirring from my sleep, I felt myself more alert than the first time I awoke in this room. It took me seconds to focus my vision, and even though my injuries still hurt, they felt less painful already.　　As soon as I had focused on my surroundings, I noticed no one by my bedside. 　　Theo's POV　　I hadn't fully realised until this moment how much we missed having Elsie around the house, her cheery disposition really uplifted our moods on a daily basis. Ever since she had gone, my brothers and I were left in an emotional slump, as though a grey cloud permanently hovered over us.　　We hadn't really talked in a few days now, there were the odd moments of passing conversation, but we never spent a good amount of time together as we used to. Oris locked himself in the library, more so than usual, and Kai was out alot. I didn't ask where he was going, he needed to do what he could to find comfort.　　There was no beautiful smile, or soft giggling coming from Gracie's bedroom while they played together. 　　Theo's POV　　"How does this thing even work?" Kai asked as he swung the necklace between his fingers, his eyes on the pendant as he dangled it above his head "Does it come with an instruction manual?"　　"Give me it, buffoon," Oris said, snatching the necklace from Kai. He pushed his glasses up his nose before taking a closer look at the pendant "I'm sure I could find a book in my collection that may hold some clues, or something similar to this magic object,"　　I sighed, becoming impatient with my brothers. 　　Kai's POV　　Finally, some action! After the long, boring session of coming together with my brothers to form a plan, Oris and I had left the car to cause a distraction. We would find Rory, and make sure we keep him in one place while Theo used the pendant to track Elsie. He would get her away from Rory's wicked clutches before he realised she had even gone.　　Sounded easy peasy! No problem.　　I couldn't wait to find the little bastard, grab his face and slam it into the ground for what he's putting our girl through. 　　Elsie's POV　　'Elsie,'　　The soft voice echoed in my mind, and even though everything was in darkness, I felt peace. As though I had slept for years and was finally coming round to consciousness.　　'Elsie, can you hear me?' the familiar soft voice echoed again 'Please say something, I'm worried!'　　Darkness still enveloped me, but I started to catch a strip of soft light across the horizon of my vision.
