　　Elsie's POV　　It was an awkward car ride home with Oris. He gave me the silent treatment and you could cut the tension with a knife between us. I felt confused over his reaction to how I had approached tonight at the dinner table.　　The previous time I had been with Oris, he was so wild and dominating. He had revealed an animalistic side to him that I hadn't realised was there, obviously it lay dormant until he felt ready to unleash it. 　　Oris's POV　　Sitting in Elsie's bedroom, on the edge of her bed I found myself restless. My leg constantly twitched uneasily as I thought about what was happening in the forest. I felt useless, wanting to help my brothers find Elsie, but I was needed here. Gracie couldn't be left alone, she was too young to fend for herself, especially now a rogue wolf had her scent.　　The painful sensation still ached through me, and I caught flashes of Elsie's sadness and cries for help in my mind. I knew she was trying to reach out into our minds through her distress, now we were mated, it was my duty to feel her pain and experience what she was going through.
