AMELIA A gust of wind on the other side of my body grabbed my attention. I looked to my right and yelped. Tyson’s imposing figure was looming over my head. I glanced at the spot where he was standing a few moments ago, sighed, and shifted my focus to him. I had to get used to the unusual things about him. “ What— ” “ How are you feeling? ” He gripped my jaw and tilted my head back to look into my eyes. I batted my lashes, taken back by the question. “ I am feeling fine? ” “ Any strange emotions? ” Tyson stepped closer, sending waves of sharp electric jolts down my back. I shuddered. The familiar spark sensation was back. “ No. ” I said quietly. “ Striker was exaggerating. ” Tyson stroked the side of my chin with his thumb and mumbled to himself. “ What are you talking about? ” I wondered, grabbing his wrist. As I stared into his eyes, I did feel something foreign—subtle relief, strange anxiousness, and suppressed fury. I had no reason to be relieved, anxious, or angry. “
