Sarah’s Pov Mr. Grim narrowed his eyes, his gaze piercing through me like a cold blade. "I will pay $1,000,000," he stated flatly, his voice with no hint of emotion. Sarah’s POVOn the floor is my mother, unconscious with blood dripping out of her nose and mouth. She looks lifeless! John's POVThe ball was left in her court, and she played it wisely. “Stop, I would sign the deal with you, whatever you want” she blurted out. Her breathing had already increased, and I could feel the surge of adrenaline that coursed through her vessels. “That's more like it. I love it when people cooperate with me” I said with a soft and emotionless smile. My bodyguard, who knew exactly what to do, went ahead to submit the needed document to me. I went ahead and gave the document to Mrs. Jones, as they untied her hand. She was given a pen, and without thinking twice, she signed the document as instructed. Finally, I had the land all to myself. I am not a wicked man when it comes to handling business deals, so I kept to my own side of the deal, and she was released as discussed. But when I got home, my ears were welcomed with the screams of a young lady whom I had kept in my house. Sarah was actually showing that she could become a thorn in the flesh.
