Sarah's POVI could still feel very weak, but I knew I wasn't in the right place. This place didn't feel like my room. Where am I? I opened my eyes slowly, but my vision was blurry at first. I had to blink again before I could get a clear view of the place.I was in John's sitting room, and I was lying on a sofa. The last thing I remembered was while I was being tortured, and he also had me poisoned, so I don't understand why he made me lay on a sofa so comfortably. I tried to get up, but my muscles were so weary to lift me up.“Easy ma'am” Rosaline, the maiden who works in John's house, quickly rushed to me. Sarah's POV I was shocked at how he just asked me to come to his room. The last time I was in his room, he actually dealt with me and warned me not to come near his bedroom. I had a large appetite, but after he said that, I eventually lost my appetite. I was really nervous because I knew this was definitely not going to be good at all. I left the dining table and slowly walked up the staircase. I knocked on the door, but it was already open. So I slowly pushed the door open. John's POVI had to call a doctor to take care of her because she was unconscious. “She'll be fine,” the doctor assured me.I had to take a seat on the sofa as I watched her sleep. Finally, she started moving on the bed, and I noticed she was waking up. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around in confusion. She tried to get up, but I had to quickly rush to her.“You need to rest,” I said as I placed my hand on her chest softly. The doctor had earlier said that she should try to get a good rest, and I shouldn't stress her.I was actually willing to follow those instructions. Sarah's POVI could still feel pain around my pelvic region, but the bleeding had stopped. I woke up to find a blood bag strapped to my vein. It had only gone half, and I was beginning to feel uneasy. I needed to use the restroom immediately.So I went ahead to remove the catheter from my hand, and I slowly got up to walk to the restroom. Rosaline quickly rushed in, like she was spying on me and held me back, in a bid to stop me from leaving the bed. “I need to use the restroom,” I said. I tried to push her away, but she was adamant.“Mr. Stones said that you should try to rest” she said. I was getting really pissed, and I could not hold back from expressing my anger anymore.“I need to use the damn restroom. Mr. Stones said, where the hell is he now. Get out of my way please” I said furiously. She had no choice but to move out of my way, seeing that I was really pissed off.I supported my weight on my weak feet and went to the restroom, and returned back to the bed all in one piece.
