Alexander's POV...Turning onto the other side of the bed, I felt it. Edwina wasn't there, and I could sense she had been away for quite a while. I panicked a bit, hoping she hadn't gone ahead to do something crazy. I was about to jump off the bed and get into the wheelchair when I heard footsteps behind the door.I would have really cussed the shit out of myself if I had carelessly acted and ended up being caught red-handed by Edwina.
