Eira’s POV“Nothing, ” Dolphus mumbled and stood up, I reluctantly followed him.“Well, aren't you going to explain how you and the Vampire King happened to come to the courtyard together?” I asked, raising my eyebrows at him.“Well, aren't you also going to explain what the Vampire King's blind sister was doing here?” he snapped and I frowned at him.What the hell was that? Didn't I tell him yesterday that I'm trying to make Selene come out of her shell?“I told you not to refer to her as the Vampire King blind sister again,” “I will call her anything I want. Eira’s POVIt's been a few weeks since the Vampire King assigned the five maids to me and we never had any issues. Well, except Celeste. She's the only one that seems to have a prideful aura when talking to me or Dolphus, she always felt like we were beneath her when in reality we are currently her masters. Since she never did anything outrageous, I always ignored her and went my way. I wasn't always at the courtyard, I've been going in and out of the Palace to get the medicinal herbs for Selene’s eye treatment. The days have been very busy and strenuous.If I wasn't busy with the medicine herbs, I would be at Selene's Palace gisting and accompanying her. Even Dolphus and I hadn't had time to talk and settle our differences.After that day that he left me in the pavilion, we haven't talked much. I made it a habit to go and find him when I'm less, but it just seems that he was always not around. No matter what time I go to look for him, I wouldn't meet him so with time I just stopped.
