Adele stood there, wondering what went wrong. She checked her time and realized that she had slept off for about twenty minutes. But how could he be upset that she did that? It wasn't enough reason for him to leave. He should have just listened to what happened. She also could not understand how she slept off at such a time when she had been so excited to go on a date with him. She began walking back to the house slowly while trying not to cry. She saw her father who was standing by the door. "What happened?" he asked. "I don't know," she replied. "Aryan just drove off." He shook his head. "You're so worthless. What a waste of time!" As he went into her room, she lay on her bed and began to cry. She picked up her phone and dialed Aryan's number, but he kept hanging up on her. She kept calling until she got tired. Meanwhile, Selene and her dad sat in her room laughing. "Wow, I can't believe I pulled that off, Dad. It was risky though. I'm happy nothing happened to the child."
