It was hard but I knew that it was important for me to put some distance between me and Adele. It was more important for me to figure out what was going on before indulging in my feelings for her or giving her the opportunity to get too close to me. This was why I told her that we should take everything slow.

I walked out of the cafe, got into my car, and was about to drive away when I sighted another car not too far from the cafe. I didn't know if it was someone dangerous and if they were here for Adele, and I didn't want to create a scene or raise any alarms. I was worried about Adele, but since she had insisted on staying behind and going back home the next day, I had no choice but to spend the night in my car. However, I didn't want Adele to know, so she wouldn't feel overconfident.

I drove a little distance away from the cafe', but from where I parked my car, I had a good view of the cafe. This way, I could tell if anyone went in or came out. I spent the night keeping watch
