Elsa had barely agreed when she was tolled out by both girls and she was secretly reliefed that they didn't ran into Alexander while they were leaving. She didn't want to see his face. Not for a very long while. Jay's place was a big, luxurious apartment in the western pack building. Pack buildings were reserved for warriors, pack members who had a valid reason for being provided accomodations by the pack. Each Pack building contained a total of four floors and Jay occupied the very top of the western pack building, with her owning the whole floor. The walls of penthouse/ apartment were painted with a dull shade of cream with a little mixture of burnt orange to add some contrast. The living room was spacious but had sparse furnitures. With only what was deemed as necessities and nothing more. It was extremely neat and tidy with nothing sticking out of place. Chapter thirty two: please save my mother, Luna. EDITED

Seeing the caller, Elsa paused. She stared blankly at the screen, full of hesitation. The phone rang continuously and she finally moved to answer it on the fourth ring. "Hello." "Elsa Madeline Hawrthorne!" She was treated to a call of her full government name. The voice from the other side of the phone carried a low repressed anger and if Elsa didn't know she was in trouble, it was way too obvious to ignore now. "Hey....mom." The reply she got was a cold chuckle. "So you still remember you have a mom, huh? Not only did you go back to the relationship that you broke yourself, you also decided to hide it from both me and your father and then had the guts to ignore every single call for almost a month. I see your wings have grown up to the heavens. Bravo." "Mom—it is complicated." Elsa massaged her forehead, her lips pressed in a thin line. She really wasn't in the mood to deal with her mother's anger. Especially since it had the same deadliness as a gas bomb. Elsa's hot-headedne

Chapter thirty three: it was too horrible. EDITED.

Elsa texted Jay her location and without waiting, she followed along with Candy who hastily dragged her in the direction of her home. Although Elsa did not get any information about what was going on, she knew it was not going to be anything good. Remembering the bruise she saw on Amina's wrist the last time, she regretted not paying more attention. The signs was there but she had ignorantly choose to ignore it. They went deeper into the pack living area and it was a place Elsa had never been to before. Arriving in front of a shabby looking bungalow, Candy rushed in and Elsa did not hesitate in the least as she followed her in. A loud, crisp shattering of glass reached her ears before she even stepped pass the door and she subconsciously pulled Candy behind her. Even though it was noon, the inside of the house was dim and dark. It was as if a tornado had ran through the living room, with broken pieces of chair and table all over. There was a patch of black sand mixed with shards

Her shoulder burned with a searing pain and the last thing she wanted was someone touching it. Elsa had a low tolerance and a big fear for pain. "Alpha." The pack doctor bowed hurridely at Alexander. He had a ugly look on his face. As if he had been force feed a pile of dirt. But facing Elsa all that showed was guilt and worry. "Are you okay?" She didn't reply to him, but instead asked. "Where have you been?" Elsa didn't know why, but she had been restless

Chapter thirty five: Don't you want to hear my answer. EDITED.

Elsa tossed back and forth in her bed, unable to sleep. Her mind was occupied with a sea of thoughts and it's unrelenting waves rolled back and forth, causing a large disturbance in her head. "I do not want you to go. It might sound selfish but I really do want you to stay with me." Recalling the words made Elsa shiver, and she jumped up from the bed. Elsa hesitated. She wanted to seriously think it through, but at the same time she already knew what she wanted. Him. "You just need to nod your head." Her lips pursed into a tight line, Elsa gave a short nod. "Okay." "Good." He took a step towards her and two fingers gently tilted her chin so she was looking straight at him. The lips that met her were slightly cold but the passion that overwhelmed her mind directly throw her brain off course and she could only clench the front of his chest to hold herself in place and not get swept off by the waves. Sparks exploded in her head and Elsa could feel herself gradually starting to lack oxygen. It was the first time ever she was this intimate with Alexander. And it wreaked havoc in her head. When he pulled away, Elsa was out of breath and she gasped heavily for air. "You....." "Move back in tomorrow." Alexander gently tucked away the stray strand of hair lingering in front of her face behind her ears. "I will think about that to

Chapter thirty seven: If I need a fortune teller I know where to find one. EDITED.

Seeing Raven amongst them Elsa immediately decided on ignoring it. It shouldn't be none of her business. Lloyd glanced at them and the frown on his face deepened. "This is too much." Tom voiced out. "Are those the team going for the teen competition?" Elsa knew but still asked. "Hmm...it is the seven of them." Lloyd reply. "But seriously the training is too hard for them. Even adults will find it hard to bare talking of the little cubs." Tom voiced was filled with dissatisfaction as he stated. "They have been running since morning and now it is almost noon and there is still no signs of stopping." Elsa sensed his complaint and it seemed that they were expecting her to do something but she really didn't want to have a clash with Raven. After all she was here to help them out. Although she agreed to a second try with Alexander, Elsa still wasn't able to wrap her head around the Luna thing. April and Jay arrived a little later. The former looked visible excited as she hopped to

Chapter thirty eight: Bad news.

Elsa didn't know anything about being a Luna and becoming one was something she had never expected. Yet, it didn't matter. She wasn't one to run away in the face of a challenge. **************** After the run with April, Elsa returned home full of sweat. She took a refreshing bath and was just about to take a short nap when she received a call from Alexander. "What are you doing?" Just by hearing his voice Elsa felt weirdly energized. She snuggled against the pillow, replying. "I just came back from the pack training ground." "I heard you got into a quarrel with the holy lady." Alexander asked. "It was nothing. We just had a conversation." Elsa brushed it off lightly. There was a short silence from the other side of the phone, and then he spoke up again. "Let's go on a date tomorrow." "A date? Tomorrow? When." Elsa was surprised and equally ecstatic. "I will pick you up at nine." Alexander said with a hum. "Oh...where will we be going?" She rolled onto her back, asking curio

A kind smile displayed on her lips she asked with a hint of confusion on the edge of her tune. "Luna Ada, what reason have you decided to disturb the peace of my pack at this time of the night?"Watching the livid look of the Female Alpha, Elsa suddenly grew curious.'what did those kids do to make her so purple in anger?'"You people of the red moon pack really have no shame—""If we were to talk about that, I'd say your howlers pack is even more shameless."
