A kind smile displayed on her lips she asked with a hint of confusion on the edge of her tune. "Luna Ada, what reason have you decided to disturb the peace of my pack at this time of the night?"

Watching the livid look of the Female Alpha, Elsa suddenly grew curious.

'what did those kids do to make her so purple in anger?'

"You people of the red moon pack really have no shame—"

"If we were to talk about that, I'd say your howlers pack is even more shameless." Elsa immediately retorted. "I will not ask again Luna Ada, state whatever reason you have come here for so we can all go back to sleep, the kids have one more competition tomorrow and need to be in their performance."

"Luna Elsa really has a way with words—such a despicable person you—"

"I see that you have nothing to say." Elsa yawned turning away she gave the kids a look. "Go back to bed."

"How dare you!!" Luna Ada roared.

"You should leave now when I am been nice." Elsa said coldly. "This is not a place you can storm in anyti

The competition was only four days, but usually lasted a week. Giving the competing pack time to socialize with each other before they all dispersed. Still it wasn't like one couldn't leave immediately if they wanted to. Elsa spent the night at the infirmary with the unconscious Logan. Forcefully sending the kids who wanted to stay with her back to her rooms. There was a heavy feeling weighing on her chest as she listened to the continuous beeps. Fortunately Rain had sent a witch to heal his injuries which were almost all gone. The nurse said he was still unconscious because of physical stress. She couldn't find sleep so she ended up staring blankly into thin air as she tried hard not to think. Wrapped in an overly thick blanket she could still feel the piercing cold that attacked her bones relentlessly. "You should get some rest." Caspian who had been watching her for some time stayed. "Can't sleep." Elsa shook her head with an heavy expression. "You feel guilt?" "It's not t

Who can identify the body?" A luna from among the crowd asked. "He....he.... is fr....om our pack—Royal Li..line..age pack." A girl said in shakily, her face pale in fright. Just as she finished someone else in the crowd yelled. "They found another body!!" Before the end of an hour a total of seven bodies was found. Every single death was ruthless and merciless. As if it was meant to be a warning. Elsa who had been previously badly shaken went down with a serious fever. Still she didn't forget to put the kids under lockdown and banned them from leaving the building. The incident affected almost half of the packs present. The matter wasn't one bit small since there was a protective barrier casted on the competition ground which kept out unauthorized persons. Either the person had a strong witch who could create a hole in the barrier which allowed entrance, or the killer was an insider and was infact among them. Any of the two could be said to be rather grim. Everyone had their

Elsa spent the rest of the day outdoor where she met up with Daniel and discussed some important stuffs about the pack reconstruction. It was only after she got back home did she realize something wrong. "Where is Candy? Why haven't I seen her since I arrived?" Elsa asked with normality. The little girl liked to stick to her so it was no strange thing for her to come visit. But strangely Alexander was silent. Picking on that something must have gone wrong, she raise a brow. "What happened? Where is she?" "She is a spy." Alexander replied with only three words sending Elsa into confusion. Her mind race. 'That is impossible—’ She was just a kid. "What happened to her Alexander?" She raised her voice a little this time. Then afterwards asked softly. "Is she dead?" "No." Alexander said. "Where is she?" "In her room—under surveillance." "I want to see her." Alexander agreed, following along. "She infiltrated the pack kitchen then poisoned the ingredients—its was good that it wa

It has been more than a week since Elsa fell unconsciously, a little more than the last time. After lots and lots of medical check up Alexander invited the best witch he knew. For how long has she been asleep?" "Nine days." "Has this happened before?" "Yes." "This—is bad." "Honey will she be okay?" Fredric asked worriedly. Seeing his daughter motionless on the bed made him panicked. "I don't know—i think she is inheriting her powers." "I thought you said she was normal—and definitely won't become a witch—" "Don't worry if she dies that means she isn't worthy of being my daughter." "Seriously honey?" Fredric sighed. "Turned out she was a late bloomer, that's already a disgrace on my side." "Greta!!" "Okay—okay. We just have to wait for her to concur her inner demons and pass the witches test then she'd wake up—probabily." "What's the possibility of her passing?" "Ten." Greta blew on her newly polished nail. "less than test percent." "How long does it takes?" Alexander c

"It's your whole generation you are calling an assassin." "Mom?" Elsa was in the middle of the wrecked bed, gripping hard on her sheets. "No. It's grandpa." Greta rolled her eyes in sarcasm. "I have a grandpa?" Elsa muttered to herself. "Honey stop picking on her." Another voice scolded sending Elsa to her feet. "Dad!!" She had just taken a step when she tripped on a wood, fortunately she was caught before she could tenderly embrace the ground. The aura was familiar so she merely leaned into his arms and asked. "What is going on? Why are they here?" —————— "Wait—you guys are trying to tell me that I am a witch— like supernatural and all?" Elsa's lips twitched as she asked. "Correct." Greta nodded snacking on some cheese. "And I got it from you. Like you are also a witch?" Elsa asked again. "Yup." Greta popped on the 'p'. "Da

"eyes open—i am going to throw a ball of my energy towards you and I need you to stop it." "Just stop it." Elsa nodded. 'Just stop it. I can do it. I can definitely do it.' She eagerly rubbed her plans in anticipation. It was day three already of Elsa's witch training and she learnt exactly nothing. Greta tried teaching her the way of the energies and how to feel the connection between nature and life but Elsa could not absorb or feel the flow so she made a guess that Elsa did not inherit her energy powers. A disgrace. She seemed it. Greta has the ability to absorb the energy of nature, shaping it into any form she wills, it was a rare and fiery ability. Elsa was mesmerized as she watch tiny specs of purple light gather at the tip of her finger nails. Her expression soon turned into dread as the surrounding air started to sizzle, as if warning her of it's danger. "

The majority decided not to postpone it." "The council did not call it off?" Elsa was surprised. "Unfortunately. No." Alexander explained. "The decision was decided by votes and most packs preferred to still go on with the ranking ritual." "Even after what happened?" Elsa found it hard to understand. "Shouldn't they be trying to catch the killers?" "Only the top twenties participated in the first competition, the blood battle will have every single packs in participation, each eager to increase their rank so as to earn more benefits. Not much people would care about the threat." "So the blood battle is in less than a month?" Elsa asked. "That means I have less than a month to train if I want to participate." She thought about what her mother said about the possibilities of her powers growing to the extent she would be able to handle ten average wolves. But then looking at the people she would want to compete. No doubt every single one of those Luna's could not be taken lightly.

Then, unexpectedly, a voice broke through the quietude. "I am here, my love," it whispered, a gentle breeze carrying the words right past Elsa's ear. Startled, Elsa couldn't help but call out, "Alex?!" Her voice trembled as she scanned the moonlit surroundings, her hair tousled by the warm midnight breeze. "Alex?" She called out again, desperation creeping into her voice as her heart sank upon realizing he wasn't there. "Was it all a hallucination?" Elsa wondered aloud, suppressing the lump in her throat. "Alexandra," she whispered, choking back tears, "I'm so scared." "I'm sorry," the voice responded, this time from beside her. "I was late." Elsa hesitated, torn between hope and disbelief. But when she turned around, there he was, the person she longed to see the most. "Alexander?!" "I'm here," he reassured her,

"Damn it. This—""Hey, calm down—calm down. Take a breath," the Heart Demon tried to console her, but Elsa could hear the tremor in her voice, mirroring her own panic."Something is wrong," Elsa muttered unconsciously, her voice quivering."What?" Prince Ryan's sharp hearing caught her words, and he raised a concerned brow."My babies..." Elsa whimpered softly."Your babies." The realization struck Prince Ryan like a bolt of lightning, and he flinched. "You're pregnant?!"Elsa, lost in the depths of despair, remained oblivious to his words. Her entire focus was on the pain that radiated from her stomach, a pain that seemed to echo in her heart. The physical pain was excruciating, but it was nothing compared to the turmoil inside her. Her heart pounded with a fear that went beyond herself.'Are they okay? They are okay, right? Oh—my children.' She whispered in agony.Meanwhile, an entirely different set of thoughts raced through Prince Ryan's mind. 'I shouldn't have let her fight with

The midnight breeze turned clogged up from the heat of the intense battle, wrapping the surroundings in a tense and frigid atmosphere. From where she stood, Elsa could taste the acrid, metallic tang that clawed into her nose, sending a shiver down her spine. At that pivotal moment, the decision was definitively carved into her mind. Her clenched fist, devoid of warmth, incrementally unfurled, birthing from her fingers icy shards that glinted dangerously. In her psyche resounded the order: Annihilate every last adversary! And she complied, unflinchingly.*Boom* Swirling dust ascended heavenward, suspended briefly by the frosty air, before succumbing to gravity in a hushed descent, only to be disrupted by another mighty strike. The demon judge, battered to obsidian and cobalt hues by Prince Ryan, observed helplessly as more than half of his shadowy legion was eradicated, his cries merging with the scarlet firmament. "Well, well." Another person stepped out of the shadow. "If it isn't the ugliest judge of the underworld,'prince Ryan.' Elsa almost blurted it out in surprise. She thought he had left since she had not seen him since the fight. It was after the fight that Jay told her his identity.Royal Prince Ryan. The seventh son of the Lycan kingSince Alexander was the ninth, he was literally Alexander's elder brother. They weren't on the best of terms.'Still, what is he doing here?' Elsa prepared herself for an intense fight. Although he had helped her during the previous battle, she didn't know if he was a friend or a foe."What are you doing here, dog? The demon judge scoffed. "What you are trying to tell me is that i am pregnant?""Yes." The pack doctor and Alexander nodded in unison.A frown appeared on her pale face, it was just too hard to believe. Just how much more does he needs? The room is almost cramped full of get well cards." Elsa complained. The real reason been that all Caspian's work has been added to hers, which was almost drowning. You would never know the importance of a person unless they were no longer there. 'Atleast he is still breathing and alive.' Elsa never knew that she would come to miss that stoic face this much. It was to the extent that she was starting to feel weirded out by it. 'please get up soon you damn ice sculpture.' Watching him lying so peacefully on the bed she scolded in her head. He growled aggressively, then pounced on Alexander. The speed was almost ten times to that of before, catching Alexander who reacted one step late unprepared. With it's huge, mutilated fingers tightened around his neck, the demon flung him many feet away like a rag toy. As if to declare it's superiority, it heavily pounded on his chest before letting out another loud roar. Alexander pulled himself out of the pit of rocks that buried him, his lips curving into a light, dissatisfied frown. The demon attacked once more, with victory at arms-lenght, it decided to end his opponent once and for all, only to lose his footing, falling facepalm on the ground. The person responsible for his fall slowly walked up to him, then stepped on his head. Pressing on it, until a dent was crated on the hard ground. "Why a

And when she regained her senses she was already grabbing on the small part of the lycan's claws that wasn't buried in Caspian bodt, restricting any more movement. With blood dripping from her hand she poured every single strength she could muster into the grip and then *crack* The lycan howled in agony as his claws shattered like fragile glass, staggering some feet back. Elsa didn't give it a chance to retreat, with her fist tightly clenched, she threw a powerful punch which sent the lycan rolling more than ten feets away, kicking up dust as it's body collapsed heavily on the ground. Her gaze quickly shifted to Caspian who stood stiff with a blank expression on his face, if not for the broken claws still embedded on his chest, he looked no different from normal. "Caspian—!!"
