Chapter eleven: Absolutely Not.

Surprisingly Elsa slept until dawn without a single nightmare. Slipping out of the bed, she first drew the curtains open and let the early morning sun drive away the darkness in the room. She commended herself for her resilience. Although not completely recovered, she felt a lot better than the day before. Knowing Dora was half dead from worry because of her, she searched the bed for her phone, which she had unfortunately slept on. "Thankfully it is still working well. I just bought it." Elsa muttered under her breath. She then fixed the bed and sat down to call Dora. "So you are still alive?" The cold laugh that came from the phone the moment it connected made her fidget with anxiety. "Why don't you check your phone and see just how many calls there is?" Dora continued sharply, her words angry and equally exhausted. "I have been calling you for the whole of the night! You said not to come but you aren't telling me anything and it is killing me!! What Exactly is going on Elsa, a

Chapter twelve: It was dangerous after all. EDITED.

The night hummed with life. Hidden behind a cloud of dark clouds, the moon peeked out with only a small part of it visible. A steady flow of pedestrians walked through the street and there was the occasional sound of cars honking. Standing in the middle of the busy intersection, the restaurant buzzed with loud chatters and all the tables were almost packed full with customers. The conversations was animated and the voices overlapped one another. Elsa stared fixedly at the steam rising from the boiling pot in the middle of the table. Hot pot!! A food for the soul. Each inhalation continued the spicy flavor of the broth and her eyes shimmered as she watched the ingredients floating on the surface. Hotpot was Elsa's go to food and her favorite Asia food. Ever since she was introduced to it by a asian client her obsession has never stopped. And this local joint was the best in the area. Sweat was pouring down her forehead and even with the restaurant air conditioner, it was hard to

Chapter thirteen: Welcome to my pack. EDITED.

Elsa got along with Daxton pretty well. Unlike identical his twin and Jay who were like wallflowers, almost fading into the background. Daxton was like a sunny ball of endless energy that doesn't seem to run out. And the most important of all, is that Daxton had a blabber mouth. He literally knows about everything. It gave her the feeling of those old ladies in the neighborhood who would hold a tea party on Saturdays, to gossip. Terrifying. From him Elsa was about to fish many important informations. It was exactly what she needed. Knowing at least the basics of what she was getting involved with was her style. With this, she could at least feel more assured of her surroundings. It was Elsa's first time taking a private flight and it showed as she spread herself on the seat, her legs fully stretched out to maximize the comfort. The flight from Florida to New Orleans was about two hours. It was just two of them were at the dinning area an early eating lunch as the rest weren't

Chapter fourteen: Can I join? EDITED.

Elsa wasn't one to sit still so the next day she decided to take a tour around the pack ground. April acted as the host as she excitedly dragged her from one place to another, while Jay walked behind them almost blending with the surroundings. By the time it was lunch they weren't even halfway done yet and Elsa couldn't help but marvel at our big the pack was. 'just how are they able to hide such a large amount of territory from the government?' Elsa's curiosity only continued to increase. "Our pack has almost three thousand members and is the biggest and strongest pack of all. Out warriors are fearless and no one dare goes against us and our territory has never been breached. Alpha Alexander is so cool that other Alpha's can't help but fear and respect him." Each word that came out of April's mouth glorified the Red moon pack nonstop. Her constant flattery made Elsa want to cringe. "Come. There is this popular stall I normally eat at. The owner is very kind and she cooks very we

Chapter fifteen: Betting on fights. EDITED.

There was a moment of silence in their small group, and it was the scar face man next to Elsa who spoke first. "Who does the Luna want to bet on?" "Uh...." Elsa thought about it, then leaned towards Jay, asking in a small voice. "Who do you think has a better chance of winning?" Jay looked at her and then stated. "Tom." "Then I will place a thousand on Tom." Elsa nodded. The others were surprised when she actively joined the bet, but no one said anything about it. After all the bets were placed, the referee quickly exited the arena and said loudly. "And let the fight COMMENCE." There was a loud cheer and Elsa was influenced by the atmosphere. Bouncing on her feet excitedly. Tom was the first to move, with a hot blooded nature he attacked John. He fist launched two different types of attack, one aimed at his opponents ribcage, his target taking a sudden change when John blocked the first attack. John easily defend against the attack aimed at his face, his lip curly up gently as

Chapter sixteen: No. Thank you. EDITED.

Surprisingly Alexander didn't say anything and they walked back to the house together. Elsa didn't know if the others were going to get the pack punishment, like Jay stated earlier. Hopefully not. In a blink of an eye the day was almost over. The quietness reminded Elsa of her home back in Florida. Alexander was on the phone. His brows furrowed with two distinct creases forming. The call stretched on for almost half an hour. "What would you like to eat?" Alexander asked after he hanged up. He put the phone into his pocket and looked at her. "You are going to cook?" Elsa was pleasantly surprised. "Hmmm..." Alexander gave a low hum. Elsa followed him to the kitchen. Sitting at the small, round, wooden dinning table she could easily see Alexander at the other side of the room. "There is pasta, some noodles and some rice." Alexander looked through the muted, grey cabinets overhead and reported. "Pasta is fine." Elsa shrugged. Alexander's phone in his pocket started to

Chapter seventeen: A run with wolves. EDITED.

A run?" Elsa sat up, a brow arched up. "Why?" "We can run around the pack borders and let our wolf free...eee." April trailed off awkwardly, remembering that Elsa didn't have a wolf. She quickly apologized. "Sorry, Luna. I forgot you were human." "It is okay." Elsa didn't care and waved it off nonchalantly. Instead she asked. "You guys usually go for runs?" "Taking a run is refreshing for our wolves. I can't let her out all of the time so I let her out to run around freely once in a while." April felt disappointed that Elsa wouldn't be able to experience the feeling. Running in her wolf form was one of the best feelings ever. April haven't had much interactions with human and Elsa was the first she was this close with. With a bit thought, she asked Elsa. "Do you want to come? I will show me your wolf?" "Your wolf? You mean you in your wolf form?" Elsa's interest was moved. "No. My wolf, Alesha." April corrected with a slight shake of her head. Elsa was puzzles, but at the

Chapter eighteen: Running with Alesha. EDITED.

The wind whistled loudly in Elsa's ear and her hair was flying all over the place. She kept her head buried deep into Alesha's fur, her legs tightly clamped on the sides so she doesn't falls off by mistake. The speed at which they were going gripped her heart with fear and it almost felt like they were flying. She dodge trees skillfully and jumped over fallen logs with ease. Her movement fluid and precise, like a shadow moving through the forest. Elsa listened to the crunching of leaves that was stepped on my her paws the cold wind leaving kisses of goosebumps on the back of her neck and arms. Alesha growled when she finally met up with Jay's wolf. Elsa sat up slightly when she started to get used to the chaotic jostling. The surroundings passed in a blur and Jay's wolf was in front while Alesha pursed her relentlessly. The feeling was foreign to Elsa, as if gaining a pair fins to swim under water. It was oddly exciting. "Wow...ooooo!!" Elsa hollered with a wide grin. Ale

Chapter nineteen: Shopping with the girls. EDITED.

Alexander was surprised when Elsa told him that she would be attending the Alpha's gatherings. Although curious about her change of heart, he decided against asking her about it. The event was less than a week away and Elsa noticed that she didn't have a fitting dress to wear which lead to her plan to go shopping. April was excited to join too, she didn't get much chance to leave the pack so she was quick to seize this opportunity. With Jay accompanying them the three drove into town. Elsa hadn't been back for to New Orleans for a long time so everything looked new and unfamiliar in her eyes. They stopped at the biggest mall in the city and it was only after walking in did Elsa find out that it belonged to Alexander's company. It had three floors with the first and second floors containing different clothes and accessories stores while the third floor was reserved for events. 'bloody rich.' She sighed in her head. Chapter twenty: They are trying to hit us. EDITED.

With a poll to two to one, Jay was dragged to accompany them, and Elsa found a bar not too far from where there were. The bar was located at a corner of the street right after an intersection, sandwiched between a tattoo shop and a hair saloon. Pushing pass the doors, Elsa was introduced to the dim lighting of the interior. There was a small stage at one end of the room and a guy wearing a face cap was singing and playing a guitar at the same time. His voice was rich and steady and added a soulful meaning to the lyric of the music he was singing and he switched between soft, gentle, low and heavy tones without breaking the flow in the least. It was incredibly captivating to listen to. "Hello. Welcome, what would you like to have?" At the fore front, Elsa smiled at the middle aged bartender, taking a seat on the stool by the slightly worn out but polished wooden counter. "I will take a Margarita." Jay sat to her left and April was to her right. "What about the two other ladies?"
