Elijah and Allen stayed by one side while Louise talked to his family. They were supposed to stay outside, but the younger vampire insisted that they come inside with him, just in case he suddenly lost control. Allen could barely remember how Elijah turned him into a vampire, but he was aware of how it was done. A human can be turned into a vampire by ingesting vampire blood. The human body would immediately die within an hour or two from not being able to handle foreign blood. The human would undergo a transition that could last for three to five days, depending entirely on the body. Some even wake up a little later than that. And it will be up to fate if the humans survive after that. Not everyone could survive the transition, especially younger bodies. The moment they wake up, their body is already altered completely into a vampire, completely out of human logic and bloodlust driven.
