"Wait." Louise lifted both of his hands to shoulder level, asking for a break. "Let me breathe. I think I’m going to die." Alice found Gardenia playing dolls with Karina. She braced herself for the questions, but all she received was a snort from Karina and a worried look on Gardenia’s face.
