Chapter 60

While Sebastian and Alex were gone, Lizzy sat next to me, “I really like Sebastian, sis. He’s a really good guy. We can all tell he’s crazy about you.” I smiled as I put my arm around her, “Thanks, sis. I’m pretty crazy about him too.” She asked, “Does he have any younger brothers?” I laughed, “I think he does. I’m sure you’ll get plenty of chances to meet them. He is the only male in a set of quadruplets, so we have invited his sisters here next week.” Lizzy gasped, “Are you serious? What are the odds? That is crazy!” Then she gasped again as her eyes went wide, “What if his sisters are mates with our brothers? Wouldn’t that be awesome?” I laughed, “It would. But don’t tell the brothers they’re coming. I don’t want them running off and avoiding them.” Lizzy laughed, “I bet they would do that too.” I nodded, “Me too.” She smirked, “Your secret’s safe with me.” When Sebastian and Alex got back, they started handing out the pizzas. I tried to wake dad, but he was not waking up. Zach chu

Chapter 61

That night, dad informed us that he was not going to leave mom while she was there, so I asked, “Do you think you can get breakfast here in the morning?” He nodded, “Of course.” I sighed, “We will stay in our wing of the castle and I will make supper. I can bring some to you.” Dad replied, “That would be good. There is no substitute for good cooking.” I added, “I’ll ask the doctor about dietary restrictions for mom too. I may have to let them cook for her until her kidneys are working properly.” Dad replied, “When the original injury happened, it was nearly three weeks before she could eat regular food. She was about to go crazy for a steak by the time it was over.” I laughed, “Hopefully we can get her real food sooner than that this time.” It has now been four days since mom’s surgery and we could not be happier with her progress. She is now sitting up and eating a liquid diet. Her urine has cleared up. There was no longer blood in it. I have been cooking for all of us and I’ve been

Chapter 62

Two days later, I was rushing around the house, trying to make sure the house is clean, the bedrooms are good, and making a nice lunch for when my mate’s sisters arrived. Sebastian was laughing at me, “Love, they’re just my sisters. Everything here is fine. They aren’t snobs and they aren’t picky.” I gasped, “But I still want to make an excellent first impression.” He smiled as he pulled me close, “Just be the mate that I have come to love and they will love you as much as I do.” I sighed as I snuggled close to him, “I hope so. I really want them to like me. I could care less if the rest of your family likes me, I just want your quad to like me. Oh yeah. I forgot something. Do you have any brothers who are Lizzy and Emily’s age?” He laughed, “I do, but do you really want me to introduce them to your sisters?” I shrugged, “If they’re anything like you? Yes. I would trust them with my sisters.” He cupped my face with his hands and kissed me gently, “You are so sweet.” I smiled, “I would

Chapter 63

Quinn ran into Micah’s arms and purred, “Mate!” I started jumping up and down while I was getting it all on video. I was so excited. Sebastian was standing behind me with his arms around my waist, “You’re getting what you wanted, love. Plus, my sisters are getting mates that I like. I think this is a win all around. I know your parents will be happy about it.” I smiled as I watched Micah and Quinn go to the living room and sit down. That was when Zach came barreling into the house and Sam ran at full speed and jumped into Zach’s arms as they both yelled, “Mate!” I laughed at the way they rushed toward each other. They went to the table and sat down, but Zach refused to put her down. She sat on his lap as they talked and waited for dinner. Alex walked in sniffing around and calmly walked up to Grace. He gently touched her face with his hand as he whispered, “Mate.” She moved in closer to him and purred, “Mate.” Alex picked her up, bridal style, and asked, “Do you want to talk in the li

Chapter 64

The next morning, I woke up earlier than everyone else, thankful for the soundproofing in the bedrooms. Thankful because all of my brothers stayed at our house, even though their house is less than one hundred feet from ours and I did not want to hear what they were doing. Sebastian was in full agreement with me too. I took my shower, got dressed and walked downstairs to start breakfast. I looked in the refrigerator and decided on blueberry waffles, bacon and sausage links. I started making the waffle batter while the waffle iron was heating. I poured myself a cup of coffee and I was ready to get going. I poured some batter in the waffle iron and called grandma. She answered on the first ring, “Hey baby girl, you’re up early.” I smiled, “I am. Did Grandma Abby tell you that I found my mate?” Grandma replied, “She did. When am I going to get to meet this handsome werecat?” I laughed, “At the same time you meet his sisters. He is the only male in a quad and guess what?” Grandma chuckled,

Chapter 65

We stepped out of mom’s room and joined hands. Micah teleported us to Cold Springs Pack and we were standing outside the pack house. Micah suggested, “I thought we should talk to Uncle Nico first to see if he has any spare houses for while we are in school.” We all nodded in agreement and walked into the pack house. We went to his office and found him talking with Seth, his Beta. We siblings walked in first and I greeted them, “Hey Seth! Hey Uncle Nico, can we talk to you for a minute?” He smiled, “Of course! Come on in! I smiled, “We have some introductions to make first. First, I want you to meet my mate, Sebastian.” Uncle Nico’s eyes brightened, “Oh wow! That’s awesome! He shook Sebastian’s hand and smiled, “It’s good to meet you, Sebastian. My sister has told me a lot about you.” Then Micah spoke up, “And this is my mate, Quinn.” Zach smiled as he pulled Sam close, “This is my mate, Samantha.” Alex pulled his mate close, “And this is my mate, Grace.” Uncle Nico was surprised, “Wow!

Chapter 66

When we got to grandma and grandpa’s house, Uncle Ace was standing on the porch, smoking a cigarette, “Well, if it aint my partner in crime!” I ran to him and hugged him, “Uncle Ace! How are you?” He chuckled, his laugh lines ever present, “I’m doin’ good. How are you? I hear you’ve been put through the wringer lately.” I replied, “I’m a lot better now. I wasn’t doing well for a while.” He put his arm over my shoulders, “I heard all about it. I also heard you found your mate.” I chuckled, “I did. He’s the hot guy over there giving you the stink eye.” Uncle Ace threw his head back and laughed out loud, “Then you better introduce us before he tries something.” I waved Sebastian over and snuggled into his side, “Uncle Ace, this is my mate, Sebastian.” Sebastian let out a breath that he had been holding, “Sorry, sir, Adele has told me about you. I guess I didn’t expect you to be so young.” Uncle Ace laughed, “It’s not a big deal. I’m much older than I look though. Trust me… I feel it.” I

Chapter 67

As we all sat to eat dinner, Micah smiled, “It’s good to be back here with you guys.” Grandpa smiled, “We love having you kids here.” I sighed as I filled my plate, “Now that we have two people who can teleport, we don’t have to wait extended periods to come back.” Sebastian agreed, “I would be happy to teleport here as much as you would like, love.” Grandpa passed the dishes around as we each filled our plates. When they were all filled, Sebastian saw the hot-hot and smiled, “I remember this. You made it as a side for our first meal together.” I nodded, “And now your sisters know how to make it.” Sebastian smiled, “Sweet!” My brothers looked at each of their mates and smiled at them. Micah nodded, “It’s good to see our mates learning from grandma.” Alex agreed, “Definitely. I like seeing you ladies learning from grandma.” Zach agreed, “Me too.” Quinn smiled, “When you guys go back to school, we are going to be here, learning how to can veggies with grandma.” Sam agreed, “And we’re goi

Chapter 68

The next morning, I took a shower, got dressed and walked downstairs to grab a cup of coffee and start cooking breakfast. However, when I got downstairs, Quinn and Sam were already cooking strawberry pancakes, bacon and sausage. I grabbed a cup of coffee and asked, “Can I help with anything?” They smiled as Quinn responded, “I hope you don’t mind that we did this. We just didn’t like the thought of you fussing over us all the time. We wanted to be able to help out.” I smiled, “I don’t mind at all. You go ahead and do what you want to do. I need to get Jamie and Bridget here as soon as we can. I want to take care of this dark warlock now. I hate feeling like I’m being watched.” Grace walked downstairs and smiled, “Looks like Sebastian already did that.” She pointed to the door just as the doorbell rang. I opened the door to find Bridget and Jamie standing there. Jamie smiled, “Good morning, princess. Sebastian asked us to come over this morning.” I sighed, “Yeah, we have another situat

Chapter 69

The next morning, I started making biscuits, and frying sausage at the same time. After cutting the biscuits, I put them on the baking sheet and then into the oven. I strained the fat off of the sausage and returned some of it back to the pan. I added flour, salt and some pepper, and whisked it until it was beige and smooth. I started slowly adding milk and kept whisking until the gravy was thick and smooth. I removed it from the heat and added the sausage back in. I took the biscuits out of the oven and started prepping my blender. I pinched apart two biscuits and a cup of gravy, then replaced the lid and pureed it to mashed potatoes and gravy consistency. I poured it into a bowl and topped it with a lid, then prepared a tray for Sebastian and myself. I poured a cup of coffee for him, then topped mine off and carried it up to our room. I opened the door and found Sebastian still in bed, sleeping soundly. We had a late-night last night, telling mom about everything that had happened w
