The next morning, I took a shower, got dressed and walked downstairs to grab a cup of coffee and start cooking breakfast. The next morning, I started making biscuits, and frying sausage at the same time. After cutting the biscuits, I put them on the baking sheet and then into the oven. I strained the fat off of the sausage and returned some of it back to the pan. I added flour, salt and some pepper, and whisked it until it was beige and smooth. I started slowly adding milk and kept whisking until the gravy was thick and smooth. I removed it from the heat and added the sausage back in. I took the biscuits out of the oven and started prepping my blender. I pinched apart two biscuits and a cup of gravy, then replaced the lid and pureed it to mashed potatoes and gravy consistency.
