Stacy woke up late on Saturday since it wasn’t a school day and went down stairs in time for lunch. Sylvia had made chicken salad and homemade croissants. Stacy’s stomach rumbled with hunger as she piled her plate full and happily ate her lunch. Marc asked Stacy if she had any plans and Stacy filled him in on visiting the families her friend Kim had told her about. Sylvia looked at her daughter worriedly, Stacy I don’t know if babysitting is such a good idea. You heard what happened over in Huntersville. Stacy shrugged indifferently, Mom come on do you really believe all that happened? Sylvia nodded with a serious look on her face. Marc spoke up and told Sylvia not to worry Morgansville was safe and Stacy would be fine. Stacy looked at her dad gratefully, Mom I will be fine. Nothing is gonna happen while I’m babysitting.
