Lara did not like the long journey one bit, but the thought of seeing Eva again made her keep on going. She needed to see her, tell her the truth and get everything off her chest. She had spent so long creeping behind her best friend's back with her boyfriend, then Eva had lost her mum, and Lara knew she had been such a shitty friend. The train finally pulled in at her station, and she grabbed her bags and hurried into the crowd of other passengers getting off. The doors slammed shut behind her, and the train squealed on down the platform leaving Lara standing alone. She stared at her surroundings and took a deep breath.
