Jack POV Fortunately, the tour went really well. Jenna and Adam hosted Sam, Sarah, and I in their suite for dinner this evening. It was a great suggestion to do Sarah’s first dinner at the Pack that way. First so we could avoid any additional uncomfortable conversations and second so we could relax and enjoy the company. The other three took great fun in teasing me about a variety of things that had Sarah chuckling. I hoped I would meet her family, so I could also learn more about her. Sarah POV This stranger was hugging me, but it felt completely natural. “I cannot believe there is someone else,” the woman called Miranda says. I only know her name because Jack provided it to me as we were on our way down to meet her and her mate. I did not recognize the man and felt a little nervous with him being here. I was still getting comfortable being around Adam and Sam, although dinner last night had helped immensely. Sam POV Just one more click and the cell will be open. I feel sweat on my brow as I fight the urge to be with Lana. She continues tempting me, “Come on sweet Sam, just one more click,” she says. I have a sense that moving forward will somehow help her. I bend over feeling pain go through my body. I am fighting what feels natural. I fall to my knee as I continue to fight the need to open the cell door. “Dammit Sam, open the fucking door,” she rages. This is the final piece that I needed to fight her. Sarah POV I knew everyone was tense as we all went our separate ways. Well except for Josie who joined us as she was staying on the Gamma’s floor. Not that I minded. It was nice knowing someone else was on the floor with us. Not sure why that mattered to me, but it did. Jack took my hand as we led the way to our floor. I chuckled internally already thinking of it as mine. Jack would be pleased but I was not ready for him to know the way I was thinking. We walked in the opposite direction of our rooms and led Josie to her suite. Jack opened the door with a swipe key and then passed it to Josie. This would be her room. Josie walked in and gasped as she took in the room. It was designed in neutral beiges that gave the room an instant warm and welcoming feeling when you waked in. Josie POV The moment Sam’s lips touched mine, I felt a spark I did not expect to feel. And then the next moment Sam was grabbing his head in pain. I stood up uncertain of what to do. “Should I call the Pack doctor?” I ask but I do not believe Sam can even hear me through the pain. Since I cannot mind-link anyone I grab my cell phone and call Jenna asking her to come immediately. I hang up the phone and try to touch Sam on the shoulder, but it only brings him more pain. The door to my suite is opened, with Jenna and Adam racing in. Adam was in a pair of sweats and Jenna had on leggings and a tank top. “What is wrong?” Adam asks as he looks around the room trying to locate a threat. I point to Sam with my throat tightened from trying not to cry. I had caused this pain. Rather the spells had but I could not help but feel responsible. Jenna takes a step towards Sam, but Adam stops her moving to stand in front of her. Jenna sigh
