Chapter 92: Storm
BAELAI was happy to hear that. It meant Aria was going to find a way to help me. I was not in this alone as I had thought I was and I looked up to her for the next move."What do we do now?" I asked Aria, feeling the cool breeze of the impending rain in my feet."I think I know what to do and I will guide you on how to do it"."You need to climb higher than the ground, to keep your body from getting soiled by the soil when it gets wet". "I will look for a perfect tree you can climb easily onto and that has a steady branch. I will be back soon". Aria said, as she disappeared.I had no choice but to wait for her to come back. This time around I was going to be fully awake when she returned as the sky above me got darker slowly. I thought back to Alpha Abbadon and the pack. How were they going to manage in this storm that was approaching overheard? Would they be fine not having Aria watch over them too?I guess they would be fine. They had water proof tents except for the ground of th

Chapter 93: Dawn
BAELAI watched as the storm raged on pouring nonstop. I was far off the ground and could see the ground get wet before becoming slightly flooded. If I was anywhere near there I would have been soaked at my feet.I would feel occasional touch of the rain as the wind blew tiny water droplets at me but other than that I was warm and dry. Aria light is still burning brightly, shielding me from the cold. My roof was holding tight so far. I was lucky to have fashioned out a rope and tied down the branches I had above my head. It was taking away the rain from me. I could lie down where I was and sleep and I would be firmly secured not to fall off the tree into the mud below. The shape of the branch was perfect for sitting or lying down but I chose to sit.It was still too early to sleep as I was still in the afternoon but the sky above me remained dark. The sun had gone to hide behind the cloud concealing its beautiful colors I loved to see."Baela, I think you should eat something". I he

Chapter 94: Fishing
BAELAI kept on following the voice of Aria until I heard the familiar sound of water flowing down a stream. I was over joyed again to have found one with the help of Aria. "The coast is clear Baela and you can go in and have your bath but you must hurry. I can't tell how long it will be safe to stay here". Aria warned, as she flew out to keep an eye out for me.I was beyond grateful as I did as she had said. This was not a time for me to have my leisure swim which I loved a lot because it was refreshing. This was a time for me to get right to business and have my bath and I did just so.The water was cooler than usual, having just rained heavily the day before. And the water level was high, meaning I didn't have to go in too deep to have the water almost submerging me inside. I went under completing, soaking my body in it. I wished I could resist but I swarmed a little while I was underneath. I resurfaced after a few seconds."Aria, can you fish?" I whispered, unsure where she was

Chapter 95: On My Trail
BAELAAria had found a quiet peaceful place to set up camp for the night. It was up on a small heap of soil forming an elevation about 2 feet above the ground. It was dry and suitable for sleeping, having a grass surface. I cut some branches from small trees and laid them into a cut shape with one part uncovered so I could go in and sleep. It was still too early to sleep now, with the sun barely out of the horizon yet. I needed to start a fire, so I could grill my fish with it and I did just that.Luckily for me I had help with Aria. I didn't have what to start a fire with but remembering how brightly she glowed yesterday and the heat I felt from her light and I knew I could use that to start the embers of a fire.I gathered any dry wood I could find and dry grasses and leaves too and with those I asked Aria to help me with her light once again."Just as you did yesterday Aria, come closer and shine brightly". I said to her. She did as I requested glady and soon I could see the amber

Chapter 96: Out of Breathe
BAELAMy heart was racing as I hurried through the woods of Gaiasania. I was constantly looking at my back to see if Alpha Abbadon was in sight or if any of his Beta's were closing in on me.To my delight, there was still no one directly behind me and I could not hear any voices or footsteps either. The problem though was that Alpha Abbadon was very stealthy - he didn't make a lot of noise when he moved and it was almost impossible to tell if he was directly behind me or not. I hope the decoy of my trail left by Aria confuses him and keeps him wandering the woods searching for me for days. If it fails to, he would be upon me sooner than I had hoped. What do I say to him if he asks me why I ran away? What do I say to him when he asks me why I faked my own death? Will he allow me continue on my journey back home or would he take me along with him and punish me severely for my actions?I thought about the questions as I ran and possible also their answers but there was no definite way o

Chapter 97: Nuts
BAELAI had succeeded going up to midday without being seen by Alpha Abbadon as I was led by Aria. All was going according to plan and I was glad. I had been walking along which was what I preferred but it was starting to get hot.The sun was overhead, still trying to evaporate as much water from the surface of the ground as it could after the heavy rains 2 days ago. I was beginning to break a sweat and I knew it was because of how warm everywhere felt.Luckily for me though, I still had enough shade from under the trees to keep me from facing the scorching rays of the sun directly but no matter where I hid, I could not escape the heat."I wished we had not been in a hurry to leave this morning, I would have loved to go for a little swim at the stream". I said to Aria, who was flying just ahead of me. She made herself visible to me this time around, since we were no longer running. Now I didn't have to rely on her voice for guidance but her presence."I am sorry Baela, I wished we had

Chapter 98: Found
BAELA"...THANK GOODNESS YOU ARE ALRIGHT!" I heard a distinctive male voice say just below me. For the first few seconds I thought I was already asleep and was dreaming but I quickly realized I was not in a dream. I was wide awake.I watched as Aria quickly disappeared from my view, although He could not see her. How was he able to sneak up on me undetected, even catching Aria by surprise and causing her to flee?"ALPHA ABBADON!" I called out, partially scared as I looked down below the tree I was on. It was truly him below, although it was slightly dark below. I couldn't see his face clearly but I could make out his distinct baritone voice easily. He was all by himself, he had come alone, forsaken his entire Beta's with him."YOU ARE ALIVE!...I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!...I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" He revealed from down below. His voice filled with shock and surprise."Yes I am ALIVE Alpha Abbadon". I replied, suddenly feeling bad for fooling him the way I did but he was suppose to accept I

Chapter 99: Underestimated
BAELAI watched as he looked at me with renewed awe. He was very impressed by what I had said, about him not knowing all about me and about me being special."So you will do absolutely nothing to punish me but would you set me free to continue on my journey alone?" I inquired, refusing to mention where I was headed to."I am sorry Baela but I cannot. Now I have found you, you have to travel with me". Alpha Abbadon insisted."What if I no longer want to?" I asked, stubborn. I don't know if I was trying to provoke him or get him to let go of me. "And where would you go if I set you free on your own?" He asked, surprisingly calm at me."I don't know yet, I will decide in the morning ". I said, acting undecided. He didn't need to know I had decided to go back home, I wanted him to believe I had decided to become a wanderer like he was."Good, then I will wait here with you until tomorrow morning when you make that decision". He revealed to my delight. It meant tonight he was not going to

Chapter 100: Exclamation
BAELAThat was strange coming from Aria. Now that sounded like a prophecy. When did Aria dive into prophecy? I scratched my head literally as I wondered about what she had just said and why she left so suddenly after saying it."So have you decided now, are you coming with me to meet the others?" Alpha Abbadon asked again, probably seeing how I was scratching my head. Now I am forced to make a decision, go with my instinct again and continue on my journey home with Aria, or take Aria's advice and go with Alpha Abbadon to meet with the others. Come to think of it, Aria had only made me look good in front of Alpha Abbadon, teaching me the necessary skills I need to survive out here while also watching over me. She had never been wrong so far and I hope she was right about this too."Okay I have decided". I said looking at him as his eyes brightened."Okay tell me, what is it?" He was eager."I will go back with you and rejoin the others". I announced to his delight. His face had now bri

Chapter 101: At the Great Mésis Sea
BAELA"NO, WE HAVE TO GO TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD!" I repeated clearly. It seemed like I was talking irrationally to them all. I could see Alpha Abbadon look at me more cautiously than before."BUT I HAVE MADE MY DECISION, WE WOULD NO LONGER BE GOING TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD BUT INSTEAD BE RETURNING BACK HOME, I THOUGHT THE NEWS WOULD MAKE YOU HAPPY!" He said."I AM HAPPY ALPHA ABBADON. I THOUGHT YOU WOULD GO AHEAD WITHOUT ME TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD BUT YOU CAME LOOKING FOR ME. NOW YOU HAVE FOUND ME, MY ONLY DESIRE IS FOR US TO COMPLETE OUR JOURNEY TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD". I insisted."AND OF WHAT BENEFIT WOULD THAT BE TO YOU? WHY SHOULD I RISK MY LIFE AND YOURS AND THOSE OF MY BETA'S TO CROSS THE GREAT MÉSIS SEA?" He inquired. He wanted to know my reason, perhaps there was more he had not yet revealed about his desire to return back home all of a sudden."BECAUSE I PROMISED TO FIND YOU A WORTHY BRIDE TO HE YOUR LUNA AND YOU PROMISED YOUR ENTIRE PACK YOU WERE GOING TO RETURN WITH H
