Chapter 95: On My Trail

Aria had found a quiet peaceful place to set up camp for the night. It was up on a small heap of soil forming an elevation about 2 feet above the ground. It was dry and suitable for sleeping, having a grass surface. I cut some branches from small trees and laid them into a cut shape with one part uncovered so I could go in and sleep.

It was still too early to sleep now, with the sun barely out of the horizon yet. I needed to start a fire, so I could grill my fish with it and I did just that.

Luckily for me I had help with Aria. I didn't have what to start a fire with but remembering how brightly she glowed yesterday and the heat I felt from her light and I knew I could use that to start the embers of a fire.

I gathered any dry wood I could find and dry grasses and leaves too and with those I asked Aria to help me with her light once again.

"Just as you did yesterday Aria, come closer and shine brightly". I said to her. She did as I requested glady and soon I could see the amber
