The cinema was quiet, almost empty which meant we had our pick of seats. Ryker and I sat down in two of the seats near the centre of the room. Ava made her way to follow us until Felix wrapped his arms around her waist to stop her. “What are you doing?” She asked, her voice shrill and her eyes darted around the room in fear. She didn’t want anyone to see him with his arms around her. “I thought we could sit over there.” Felix said, pointing towards a quiet corner of the cinema. Ava’s gaze flickered over to where Felix was pointing before looking around the room nervously again. She tried to remove his arms from her waist but he just gripped her tighter. “I don’t think that is a good idea.” Ava said. “What is wrong, you are acting as though you are ashamed of being seen with me.” Felix asked, the hurt was clear on his face. “It’s not like that.” Ava said, her voice carried a note of panic in it. There were only a few other people in the cinema but they were all looking at us.
