Emily’s POV So far my day has been fine. I had woken up by 6:00am and had gone for a run, accompanied by a stray cat who scared the shit outta me. On getting back home, I made breakfast for myself and was halfway done when Mum and Dad walked down the staircase with heavy eyes. “Good morning,” I greeted, cheerfully.
