Chapter One

Chapter One  I finished busting the tables I was working on and threw the dirty rags in the bin on the way back to the locker room. Peyton and I were meant to finish our shifts hours ago, but a few other members of staff had phoned in sick and, well, honestly, I needed the money, we both did. Andrew, our boss, offered extra hours, so we took them. We’re saving practically every penny we can so we can get our own place. We didn’t have the best home life, and I know Peyton felt some weird need to ‘’protect’’ me from it. Take me away from the shitty reality we had. In all fairness, it's not like it's our parent's fault. Our family had been through a lot over the years. Sighing to myself, I took my apron off and shoved it in my locker. It had gotten to t

Chapter Two

Chapter Two I don’t even know how long I lay there on the floor, in an incredibly uncomfortable position but that was the least of my worries right now. Was Peyton ok?! I was terrified, but I managed to calm myself enough to listen closely for any signs that she was ok. I could hear a second person heavily breathing somewhere very close to me, possibly even right next to me, but I assumed if it was her, she was gagged like I was. ‘Which one are you having?’ I heard someone ask, with humour in their deep, clearly male, voice. There was a chuckle. Was this a joke? A game? What did these guys want?!!? ‘That one’. Which one? Did he mean me or my sister? ‘Good, I’ll take the blue chick’. I was the blue chick, which means the first guy meant Peyton. Fresh panic arose inside me. Living in LA, you hear the stories, it's not the safest of places, especially downtown, the city has a dark history, but you NEVER think something like this will happen to you! Upon the realization that the

Chapter Three

Chapter Three Michael’s Point of View I left the girl with my warning and walked over to the door, slamming it closed. I just kept quiet and watched as she sat up, but she didn’t move more than that. She just stayed still, in place, as I told her to. Good girl. I could see her shaking, and smiled. Good, I want her terrified, I want her to know that her time was limited, that after I’ve had my sick fun and games with her, I was going to kill her. It was part of the fun and excitement of why I do these things. They always beg and plead, but it never works. I was a monster, I didn’t have a heart or a conscious, I torture and kill who I want when I want.

Chapter Four

Chapter Four Ella’s Point of View This guy was such a sick creep. I just sat, terrified and waited for him to speak again, but he didn’t. I had nothing to say and what I did want to say would probably just annoy him, and I'm sure it wasn’t anything he never heard a million times when he’s done this before. Let me go. Please don’t hurt meWhy are you doing this to me? I won’t tell anyone, anything! … and so on. It was crazy, someone like him was doing this shit. Sure, there was probably some serious deep-rooted fucked up reason, but like... He was a really attractive guy, why did he do this? He would no doubt have absolutely no problems finding women… Maybe that was the issue? Maybe it was too easy for him, he wanted a challenge, a big, fucked up, sick challenge, or maybe... It was as simple as he found it fun… … but no matter how attractive he was, how good looking he was, how handsome, it couldn’t hide the fact his eyes... They were just.. Black. You could literally see the

Chapter Five

Chapter Five Peyton’s Point of View Time seemed to be standing still but speeding past at the same time. I didn’t know how long I had been with this guy, away from my sister. It could have been 5 minutes, it could have been 45, it could have been an hour. At least he had removed my gag and restraints. He was a lot taller, which was intimidating in itself, but he bent down to my eye level and smirked. ‘My favourite thing about hurting sweet little innocent girls like you, is hearing you cry and beg me to stop’. His words made my insides turn to ice. He leaned slightly closer and his voice dropped to a whisper; ‘but it never works’. He grabbed my face, holding it tight. ‘You’re just a freak who gets off hurting girls’. ‘Yeah, pretty much’. He responded with a small chuckle like he was both proud and amused.‘What the hell went wrong in your life that caused you to enjoy this!?’ Suddenly his amusement vanished. There clearly WAS something that triggered all this. Maybe I can use th

Instagram name is: amandastjames.vw-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Chapter Six~ Hours Earlier ~Noone’s Point of View Everyone was getting ready to leave for the night, it was late, but that was the point. There were fewer people on the streets this time of night. While it meant that there would most likely be slim-picking in terms of victims, it meant there was less risk of something going wrong or being seen. Sure, there would be a lot of homeless people in downtown LA, but even when they see something, they DON’T. The gang learned early on, that a lot more people prefer not to get involved in altercations than

Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven Luke’s Point of View‘Hey, can you come and help me clean up the shed?’ I asked Michael taking a swig of my beer. There wasn’t much that needed to be cleaned up, at least, I didn’t think so, but maybe I could persuade Michael to talk to me about whatever it was that was clearly on his mind. Maybe if we were somewhere more private, he would be more inclined to talk. In this house, the saying ‘’the walls have ears’’ was all too literal. With nothing more than a simple ‘’hmmm’’, Mike downed his beer in one and got to his feet. ‘Sure, why not. Got nothing else to do’. He mumbled and headed towards the kitchen. I just followed him. Ok, Something was really wrong with him, but what? Walking into the shed, I flipped the light on and Michael followed, He cringed at the sight of the vomit on the floor. Oh, shit, yeah, I have to clean that up, greatttt. Damon would have a hissy fit if he saw it. This was his ‘’special room’’. He lets us use it on the condition that we clean

Chapter Eight

Chapter EightDamon’s Point of View As soon as I saw who had contacted me, I smiled, made an excuse and left. Naturally, I had no intention of telling the guys where I was going. I wasn’t stupid. I was the TINIEST bit annoyed, but overall, I wasn’t. I was gonna miss out on the fun of whatever Luke had planned, and what Michael had done didn’t really satisfy the sadist in me, but, I suppose they weren’t my toys to play with. My night will come again soon, For now, that murder itch just had just gnawed away at me until I could scratch it. We only went hunting once a month, well, once a month each. Michael and Luke often hunted on the same evening, it's something they’ve always done, they seem happy enough to share their evening, mine was always before theirs and Joey’s was always after. It was annoying, having to ration it like that, but it's how we stayed under the radar, and once we hit a location for a victim, we don’t hit it again for a little while after, again, less suspicion th
