Chapter Eleven: Is Sorry Enough? Z E N O Kanina ko pa gustong i-text si Charlie kung nasaan na siya kasi inaasahan ko na mag-di-dinner kami by 7 or 8 but it’s closing to midnight already. Wala naman siyang pasintabi kung may iba siyang plano pero nagtatampo ako sa totoo lang. Kasi ako ‘yung tipo ng tao who put high regards on people who keeps their promise to me. But I guess it’s just wishful thinking at this point, baka may nangyari lang at napapalalim na naman ang pag-iisip ko. I tend to overthink sometimes, it’s one of my worst traits. But I wasn’t disappointed with what my assumptions were earlier, kasi may dumating na kotse sa courtyard and I can barely make out the face kung sino yung nasa driver’s seat. Chapter Thirteen: The WeddingI could never understand the body fluids that went out of my body that just made everything happen. Charlie did manage to make it up to me by staying up with me sa company nung araw na ‘yun and we did things a lot quicker than expected. And then, parang pumikit nga lang ako, the wedding day has come.  The truth is, I’m nervous as hell. Para kasing may kumakalabit sa likod ng isip ko na hindi magpapakita si Charlie. Pero ilang beses na rin niya akong sinigurado kaninang umaga na matutuloy at matutuloy ang ceremony. So I just decided to trust her. Besides, my kontrata kaming ginawa and if this doesn’t end up the way we planned from the beginning, I could sue her arse. I’m nice though, gusto ko lang ng formality para hindi mag-withdraw siya bigla if she changes her mind.

Namimigay lang ng plane tickets.” “It’s not like it wouldn’t benefit them.” sabi ko pa habang nag-aayos na rin ng gamit na tinutupi nang maayos para magkasya sa maleta. “They sent me there para bigyan ng feedback since kakabukas pa lang. It’s not completely a gift kung may kapalit, diba?” Tumango pa si Charlie na tiningnan ako nun habang naglalagay din ng mga damit sa bag niya na hindi man lang inaayos kaya medyo natitrigger ako. “But it’s nice of them. 2 weeks din tayo ‘run. Buti pumayag boss ko sa 2 weeks leave.” “Hindi pwedeng hindi pumayag. Sinabihan ko na.” sagot ko

Chapter Seventeen: Secrets “Parang ang dami namang pasabog ng papa mo, Zeno.” I still kind of feel his dad cares for him more than Zeno expects him to. But is the dad proud of the wrong thing in this matter? Proud kasi nagka-asawa si Zeno ng babae? Inexpect ba ng papa niya na lalake mapapangasawa ng anak niya dahil all Zeno’s life, he didn’t really talk with Zeno about his preferences. Choice ni Zeno kung paano niya ipapakita ang sarili niya sa ibang tao.and as a father, he should be supportive of that. Iba talaga kapag galing sa conservative family but I can’t blame them, really? Paano kung ganun din papa ni Zeno sa mga magulang nito dati at pinapasa lang nito ‘yung outlook and mindset na ‘yun sa anak nito ngayon? I don’t have to judge so easily.
