Inhaling the fresh breeze of air on the window of the bus felt so refreshing and calming while the sun rays slightly squinting her eyes. Compared to the fast-paced urban life, the sound of horns of vehicles in the streets, the stress and traffic roads in the city, it just felt so relaxing feeding her mind and body with this changing environment. The familiar sweet refreshing smell of trees and meadows and the combination smell of damp moss and wildflowers filling her nostrils was so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. How could she ever forget the smell of home? The place she used to grow and the place she left behind for a new life. After staying for almost 8 years in France, she finally decided to come home and visit her hometown. Alexa ushers her to her room after dinner. What touches her heart is when she noticed her room hadn't changed a bit. It's like she hasn't left the room for eight long years. Her paintings, closet, books and left sketch pads, the bed, and even her favorite floral bed sheet and blanket. Everything was exactly the same arrangement as she left before. While scanning her room, floods of memories came rushing through her mind from her childhood to her teenage days. Her heart is thumping very fast as she felt her knees trembling in nervousness. This is the moment she feared to happen, the start of her misery- her wedding day. How she wished that the ground will open and just swallow her to death. "Can I ask where are we going now?" She couldn't help to ask as they were in the car while he was he driving. She doesn't understand but the wedding reception is just ten minutes drive going to the airport but he has been driving for half an hour now. It was around 12 midnight when the wedding party was over. She was informed by her Mom that their honeymoon will be held in the Maldives and they will stay there for a week. She said it was all expense by her father as a gift to them. She has never been to the Maldives and she knew it is one of the topmost honeymoon destinations in the world.  "My pad." He shortly replied as cold as ice.  "In your pad?" She parroted feeling puzzled. "Sorry to burst your bubble wife but we don't have a honeymoon. We don't need it." That made her look at him and gave him a questioning look.  "What am I going to tell my parents?" She asks nonchalantly not wanting to sound disappointed.  "

It was late at night and she just finished a good piece she was inspired to paint. Feeling thirsty, she went out of her room to go to the kitchen and get herself something to drink before she sleeps. After taking a glass of water in the kitchen, she was about to go upstairs and go back to her room when her attention got caught by someone in the dark living room. Turning on the lampshades located at the corner of the living room, she found Zeke sitting on the floor vomiting. Feeling worried, she immediately walk towards him to attend to him."Are you okay?" She couldn't help to ask him.She was not sure if he heard her or he just never bother to answer. He just looked at her before he wipe his lips using the dorsal side of his hand. His eyes were glassy and bloodshot. Based on the redness of his face and his smell, he seemed drunk."Are you drunk?" She still asks the obvious.To
