Chapter 31: Kamron

I’ve been floating on cloud nine for days. That night I spent with Rose was the best night sleep I’d had in ages. I adored waking up wrapped in her arms, her nose snuggled into my fur. Okay, so I might be a little weird, but we can’t share my bed as humans, yet. I’d caught her alone at the bus stop after school on Tuesday, and my mind drifted to those moments we cuddled. I slid in next to her, and began playing with her hair. I don’t remember when I started doing that, but she has never stopped me. I smirked at her as she looked absorbed with what was on her phone. “What’s the story today?” I asked her. “It’s a rejection novel,” was her simple response. “Rejection?”

Chapter 32: Rose

I couldn’t believe how nervous I was for Friday. I shouldn’t have been. I kept telling myself that Kamron was still Kamrom, and I had nothing to worry about. Kimia had spent almost all week with Simon either at her house or his. I was starting to miss her. I was sitting at my house Thursday night, playing some classic Nintendo, when my mother finally noticed that I was alone. “Where are the twins?” I shrugged. “Kimi’s with Simon, and it’s looking like they’re turning into a couple. I have no clue where Kam is. Probably at Jeremy’s.” “It’s odd to have you home without them,” she sat down on the couch behind me. I grunted at her. I didn’t want to talk too much about it. I’d been coming ho

Chapter 33: Kamron

“Mallory! Go home!” I shouted as I walked back into my house. Anything to split up the terrible two before I have to endure them for a whole week. Still, I knew I was grinning. The more I kiss Rose, the easier it gets to flirt with her.  “Get bent, Kam! Why should I go home?” Mal looked at me from the top of the stairs. Mina was right behind her. “Because you need to pack. Your parents are kicking you out.” True enough. Okay, so I’m a jerk, but they put makeup on me against my will! Mina rolled her eyes at me. “Don’t lie, idiot.” “I’m not lying! I’m serious! I just saw Rose outside, and she told me to tell you to go home and pack!&rdq

Chapter 34: Rose

The way Simon showed up to the date was a little weird. I couldn’t help but wonder which friend was in need of help. I’m glad he’s a good friend, though. I know that I would drop everything if Kimia needed me. Hell, I’d gone on a date with Nate for her. Still, Simon proved to be an excellent conversationalist. He was charming, funny, and very cute with Kimia. The movie was pretty good. I’m not really into Marvel, but I really didn’t want to see a horror movie. Our town theater is pretty old, and the seats haven’t been updated since the last century. The armrests are stationary, the floor is sticky, and the padding on the seat is pretty thin.  “If you’re uncomfortable, my lap is available,” Kamron whispered into my ear about twenty minutes into the movie. I elbowed him,

Chapter 35: Kamron

The week Rose and Mal stayed with us was both heaven and hell. I got to wake up and have breakfast with Rose, spend the afternoons doing homework, gaming, and just hanging out. The hell was because I kept having to let her sleep with Kimi instead of having her curl up with me in my bed.  Kimi and Simon started spending more time at our house than his. She didn’t seem to mind, but compared to the previous week, I wondered why he was choosing our house now when his house was perfectly fine last week. I also noticed that Rose wasn’t complaining.  All this left me feeling discombobulated. I love my sister, and I want her to be happy, and I love Rose. I want Rose to have her best friend, but I wanted her more to myself this week. I didn’t want to monopolize her, just have more time to just be with her one on on

Chapter 36: Rose

“I agreed to be Kam’s girlfriend if he gives me three of his Mario Kart cheat codes,” I explained to Mrs. Graycort. I am a bit embarrassed she felt the need to cool us off. I got lost in that kiss! I was getting, well, something. I wanted to rub my hips against him, and my knee kept rubbing his hard dick. Maybe getting soaked was a good thing. I’m not ready to go much further than kissing at the moment. “I’m glad you’re getting something out of it, dear, but no kissing in bedrooms! I’m too young to be a grandmother!”   “Yes, Mom.”  “Yes, Mrs. Graycort.” Kamron dragged me into the TV room where Kimia and Simon were doing thei

Chapter 37: Nate

That Kimi-cup is one determined bitch! She’s going to be loyal to a meathead rather than enjoy some pleasure from me. It’s upping her sex appeal. I mean, a tramp is good for a quick release, but the more I get to know Kimia, the more I want to know about her.  Ever since I shifted my attention from Rose to her, I’ve learned that she’s extremely fierce. She threatens people she doesn’t like, and she’ll defend her friends with everything she’s got. That slut I kissed when I first got here can’t hold a candle to Kimia, even though Kirsten is objectively prettier.  I regret kissing Kirsten. If I hadn’t done that, she and Simon wouldn’t have broken up, and I’d have a chance with Kimi. Fuck me and my horny prick! Now Kimi won’t even meet my favorite cousins.&

Chapter 38: Rose

Leaving the Mactire’s was a quiet affair, at first. Sarina was fuming at Susan, and she wasn’t up for a lot of talking. Not after avoiding Nate’s cousins. Octopus arms must be a family trait. I couldn’t help but grin at the memory of Saoirse trying to help Sarina undress. “What are you grinning at?” Kamron whispered in my ear. “I was just remembering Saoirse trying to help Sarina strip. Rina wasn’t appreciative,” I whispered back. Kamron chuckled. “I imagine she wasn’t. At least not after the bombshell we got at dinner.” “I’m assuming you warned Ray that he’s in deep shit?” I snuggled closer to Kamron. We were in the very

Chapter 39: Kamron

The news about Sue knowing our secret, and the fact she’s been secretly dating Ray, was huge. Not that her knowing, or them dating is something that Mom and Dad would care about, if they were told about it. Since they weren’t told, they’re annoyed. I swear, they were up half the night thinking up ways to torture Ray. It’s going to be hilarious when the lovebirds come home for summer. History reminded me that Jeremy was still having a rough go. We’d hung out over the last weekend, and I managed to annoy him enough that he told me what was going on with him. His parents are splitting, and his mom is planning on moving a few towns away. If he went with her, he’d only see his dad on weekends.  He’s not a big fan of his dad. His dad is one of those macho guys who expects his son to be into sp

Chapter 40: Rose

I could have danced with Kamron for hours. He was such a great dancer, and Saoirse was a decent DJ. We made it through four or five songs before I signaled I needed a drink, and we went looking for Nate. He was still at his makeshift bar, and was smiling and flirting. He’d put out a tip jar since we’d last talked with him. “Nate!” I shouted over the crowd to get his attention. Kamron was behind me holding my hand.  “Rose! Water or mocktail?” he asked. “Water, please,” I said, holding up two fingers. He nodded and grabbed two water bottles for us. “Having fun?” he asked. “Saoirse’s
