Aliya

Aliya I was watching Xander as we all sat around and talked. When Gideon and Zane first came into the room and saw her with Xander in her lap I knew they were both confused and hurt. Once Brayden explained that he was her younger brother you could see them visibly relax. I sat by Tia because I could tell she was nervous around them. I am pretty sure she was afraid that they would reject her once they found out about her. I was surprised when Alpha Phillip explained everything that had happened to her. All three of the visiting alphas were visibly pissed that a father would sell his own daughter to save his ass. I smile when they each sit down beside her. I see a faint blush spread across her cheeks. “I actually went there to see if there were any survivors. Unfortunely there was not or they had been taken by the rogues.” Alpha Weston states. “Many of the members of the pack were so corrupt that they probably went with the rogues willingly. It wouldn’t surprise me if someo

Brayden

Brayden “She is going to be ok. Doctor Branson said that her wounds are healing and that the only reason he is keeping her overnight is to flush the sedatives out of her system.” Myles says. “I know, but I am still worried.” I admit. Two hours ago we were alerted to a group of rogues that had managed to sneak onto our land. We easily cornered them when I realized that they were decoys. Another group was heading for the packhouse. As they were heading in that direction they came across dad, Xalen, and Kendricks's dad, who had Kendricks's younger sister Lillith with them. They were coming back from town when they were attacked. Of course, as expected the men closed ranks around Lillith who just turned 8 years old a couple of months ago. They were outnumbered but at some point, during the fight, my angel showed up. I have no idea how she knew what was happening. By the time we got there most of the rogues had been killed. “From what Xalen told me, Aliya never shifted and

Aliya

Aliya I start to move and fuck it hurts. I can’t figure out why my whole body is revolting against me. Then everything that happened starts to slowly come back. The feeling of dread spread through my body when I heard about the rogues attacking. Then I felt the fear from Lillith. I knew I had probably freaked out Blake and Harrison when I vanished but I knew that I needed to get to Lillith. When I got to her and saw what was happening I was pissed. I immediately jumped in and started fighting the rogues. I felt my powers building and decided that it was time I started using what I was given instead of hiding them. I have no idea what happened after that as my world started to spin and get blurry then there was just blackness. My eyes fly open when I remember Alpha Phillip, Henry, Xalen, and little Lillith. I try to jump out of the bed I am in but something wraps around me. “Hey it’s ok angel no need to fight me. Everything is fine.” A voice says. I must still be groggy

Brayden

Brayden “What the fuck is that?” I asked. “This is called a dragon. More specifically a chameleon dragon.” Thalex answered. “Why is it here in my pack?” I asked. “We brought it for Aliya. We thought that it would be a good pet for her to have. Plus it can blend in and become invisible. We use them to watch over others we need to keep an eye on.” Ramulus answered. “You mean people you need to spy on others,” Kendrick stated. I watch as the dragon curls up in Aliya’s lap and start to make a sound. It sounds like it is purring. I raise an eyebrow at her but she is petting the little thing. Zharten explains that they raise these particular dragons as both spies and guards. He says that they are fiercely protective of whoever their masters are and will protect that person with their lives. I look at the little dragon again. Thalex says that the dragon will not get any bigger than the size it is now. It is the size of a large house cat. I guess my pack just gained a pet d

Luke

Luke I had lots of time on my hands with the current storm raging outside. It had started early this morning and gotten worse as the day went on. It was just after lunch and was looking at some old photos that Alpha Phillip had brought back from the pack when he had gone there right after the attack. Something about this whole kidnapped twin sister thing with Carter’s mom wasn’t sitting well with me. Then there was Andrew and his twin. That one I did actually believe. I had called our great uncle and talked with him about it after Aliya and the other women had dug through all those boxes and organized the pictures. I had found a few pictures of Carter’s mom when she was younger and compared them to Harlow. Yes, they looked alike but there was something that was bugging me about them. I had found an old hairbrush that belonged to who we thought was Carter’s mom and had taken it to a cousin of mine who was a doctor. He had met me in town a few days ago so I could give him the

Aliya

Aliya After Luke had told us everything he had learned yesterday I decided that I needed some alone time. I used some of my fae magic and made myself invisible all while concealing my scent. I knew that Brayden would be able to find me by following my scent. The storm was still raging but I snuck outside and headed down the path outback. I found this place when I first got here. I slipped between the two rocks and then climbed down the hill. I stood in front of the tree and knelt down. I smiled when I pushed the bush covering the hole at the base of the tree appeared. I crawled in and immediately dropped down a hole in the ground. I almost let out a scream but my feet came in contact with the ground and I let out a breath that I forgot I was holding. I walked the length of the tunnel until it opened up into a large cavern with sparkling water. I am not sure if anyone knew about this place. I think it is under the waterfall that Brayden showed me or at least close by it. Th

Brayden

Brayden I just about lost my mind when I couldn’t find my angel anywhere. I had searched the whole packhouse. I even searched the library. I admit that I hadn’t looked through the entire library but no one needed to know that. Besides her scent was nowhere in that room. She might have thought that she was able to hide her scent from me but I had followed it all the way to the back door. I have no idea why she would walk out into this storm but I almost followed her. Luke stopped me because apparently, he had also followed her scent as well. "If she really went out there then she is using her abilities to calm the storm enough to see. We will not be able to.” Luke says. “Why would she want to chance going out in this shit?” I asked. “When Aliya has had a lot of information dropped in her lap she likes to find a quiet spot and think about everything she was told. I dropped a shit ton of information on her yesterday and I am sure she needs some time alone to process it. I

Aliya

Aliya Finally a break in the fucking weather. The last two days have been beautiful. Cold as hell but beautiful. I am just glad to get out of that fucking packhouse. Don’t get me wrong I love the packhouse but being stuck in it for days on end would drive anyone crazy. I think if we had more girls in the packhouse it would be better but we are outnumbered by the guys. That does not include Blake, Chester, and Fraizer. Harrington has been around a lot lately as well. He is amazing with all the tech shit. We, women, decided we needed a day in town so we left before the guys had woken up. I am waiting for Brayden to realize that I am not there and start blowing up my phone. “Damn this food is good. I forgot how good this place is.” Yvette says. I nod in agreement. I have missed coming to this place. This little cafe has the best breakfast food and coffee. I look over and Ahlanyea and Tallyn have their eyes closed and I am sure I heard one of them moan, This is their fir

Brayden

Brayden I was not happy when I woke up. I reached across to pull my angel close but my hand finds an empty spot on our bed. I open my eyes and look to make sure that she isn’t just close to the edge of the bed but no her side is cold to the touch. I sit up and scan the room. I can’t hear her moving around and while her scent lingers it is fading. I climb out of bed and walk into the bathroom. The air in here is still warm letting me know that she hasn’t been gone that long. I take a quick shower and head downstairs. It is quiet here. I don’t like it. I can hear the others coming this way as Claire walks out setting stuff on the table. Damn the food smells delicious. “Have you seen the girls?” I asked. “Sorry Alpha but I haven’t. I did notice a few of the cars missing as I walked over here this morning. It looks like they didn't eat before they left.” Claire answers. We sat down to eat when Blake, Chester, and Fraizer can running into the room. The three of them

Aliya

Aliya Damn my head hurts. I slowly open my eyes and look around. I don’t recognize the room that I am in. I sit up and let my vision clear. Once it does I realize that I am in the guest bedroom. The same one I stayed in when I first came here. I am confused until the memories from earlier start rolling through my mind. Fuck the rogues attacking those two girls. Only they weren’t rogues, it was Andrew and part of his pack. I remember Tallyn being there and using her abilities. I vaguely remember others showing up right at the end of the fight. I am positive I heard Brayden talking. I know he was there because I felt the tingles running through my body. If they brought me back to the packhouse then why am I waking up in the guest bedroom? Unless Brayden is afraid of me now. I knew this would happen. I swivel my head around when I hear the door creak open. “Hey, you are finally awake,” Luke says. “How long have I been out?” I ask. “You have been asleep for 24 hours.
