It’s cold… It’s cold and dark… I remember a day similar to this. I think it was actually the day Gray and I met. I was beaten half to death by my father after returning home from the Marines for good, then I was kicked out with only the belongings I brought back with me. I had broken bones from being stomped on and kicked and I was bleeding from my thigh and my head. It was a miserable rainy night so I walked twelve blocks with all my stuff so I could attempt to sleep under the bridge but… someone was already sleeping there and instead of trying to help me or being sympathetic… They robbed me of one of my duffle bags.
