Amber’s pov Everyone started coming in for the conference. Ronin and Bodhi and their daughter Jaimee, Dawn and her mate Chase plus Oliver and Ava and their three kids. Amber's pov I needed to leave around twelve for my run with the special wolves, but I had some time left for Axel. We made love like when we first found out we were mates and I did not want to leave our bed. I was snuggling with Axel when Ripley said, "okay, you had your fun. Come on let me out." Fine. I got out of bed, trying not to wake Axel up and grabbed a big shirt. I put the shirt on and headed downstairs, the other special wolves were already waiting for me. They would head out with me, some of them wanted to see how I charged myself. I had always been reluctant to share it with anyone, but it was one of the last times I would be able to do this. We all shifted and went into the forest. I usually charged myself near the lake, but that area still felt private to me. So I found another clearing. I sat down and the other wolves sat down beside me, forming a circle. "You know, we can try something different if you want?" Ridley said. "What do you have in mind," I responded.

Axel’s pov Amber and Elias were both on bed rest, sleeping most of the day. I felt totally helpless in this situation, I knew I just had to wait for them to get better. I spend my days focusing on pack security and finding out more about witches. My father had an extensive library, which actually belonged more to my mother in hind sight. Amber’s pov The party went great, everyone seemed to love it. All the guest were congratulating Elias and some looked at me with pity in their eyes. They knew my powers would come to an end tonight. Luckily Axel stayed close to me the whole evening, his hand on my lower back gentle stroking it. "Everything will be fine", he told me. I had chosen as many desserts as I could for the buffet, I loved desserts. But I didn’t have much of an appetite. Briana came by with a plate full deserts wrapped up.
