CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

Diana  IF SHE WAS told a few weeks ago before she ran into the vampire kingdom that on this day, she would be revealing her secret to the world, she would have doubted it with everything in her.  Now, as she stood in front of the huge conference table, being stared at like a circus animal, all she could think was, what convinced her to do this. The first person she caught sight of was her uncle who gaped at her like she was a ghost–which she had actually been for three years.  Alpha King Lennon Moonshine was the Alpha of the New Dawn Pack and the younger brother of her father. He emancipated from the family years back due to his greed and formed his own Pack; the New Dawn Pack.  After her father died, he jumped at the opportunity to become Alpha King. His covetousness knew no bounds.  "What sorcery is this?" Alpha King Lennon bl

CHAPTER FORTY-TWO

Diana A SILENCE FILLED the room as everyone digested the information. Diana was not sure how to react.  Did she expect this? No.  But did she like the turn of events? In a way, she did.  With more influence, she could fulfil her destiny and take what was her parents'.  Now, was she going to accept it? She did not know yet.  A growl bubbled from the left side of the room, pausing her decision making and Diana turned in the direction of the sound which she saw belonged to her now red-faced uncle.  "What nonsense are you spewing, King Marse?! You are literally handing over the Werewolves to a little girl who knows nothing about being a leader!" King Lennon raged as he rose from his seat.  Calmly, Diana stood up and walked across the room to her uncle with powerful but short strides.&nbs

CHAPTER FORTY-THREE

Rudolph THE STREETS WERE noisy the next day. Everyone had heard about the king travelling and that caused national unrest.  People were worried about the zombies returning in the absence of the King. But the bigger issue was the rumour that began that morning.  Someone spread a rumour about the King's intention to marry Diana instead of a vampire queen that he was supposed to pick at the selection next year.  The rumour was heavily talked about at the market as Rudolph and Robin went to get clothes and some other supplies for both them and Diana.  "Do you think this is the reason why the King asked Lady Katherine to leave the castle the other day?  "I heard the servants talking about it," a woman said from beside the stall that Rudolph was purchasing a pair of shoes for Diana.  "It could be but then again, is

CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

Diana ROYAL TWINS ARE rare but heavily frowned upon as a battle of power is almost always certain.  Due to their dominance and power, one twin always ends up consuming the other twin in the womb or absorb their powers. Twin royals rarely survived.  "So, your crazy twin brother is gathering forces for a takeover of not just the vampire kingdom, but also the entire supernatural world," Diana questioned, as everything became clearer.  "Yes," Aiden affirmed.  "Now we know the leader and what his motives are, we can find out his plans and how they operate," King Marse added.  Diana nodded. "I suggest we stage an exile. Make it look like the person committed a grave crime and have the person exiled.  "The person will find refuge in their camp but will actually be working undercover. Only the Kings and this person s

He needed to see his father before it got too late.  Robin would hate himself if his father died without meeting him one last time and she could not let that happen.  The party left the Supreme Capital as the inhabitants of the capital bid farewell to the new Supreme King. The other Kings would also return to their kingdoms on this day, leaving the Supreme officials in charge.  Diana's mind went back to the kid, Ellie. CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

Diana  SHE FINALLY SAID it and Robin looked very much taken aback. He looked like she had spoken in a different language.  "Wha–wha–what?" He stuttered, blinking repeatedly.  "When the Zombies attacked the Fay kingdom, they left King Arthur in a very bad state.  "The Queen, your mother sent out word to King Marse and I am sorry but he wouldn't last long," she said sadly, watching his reaction carefully, and sighing when she was unable to get anything.  She knew he had gone into that zone.  "Robin?" She tested.  "I want to be alone," he whispered, staring blankly in front of him.  "Robin, I can not leave you alone in this state," she argued desperately  "Please, Diana, I need to be alone," he pleaded, sounding like he was on the verge of brea

CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

Aiden AS SOON AS Diana left, Aiden sent some of his men after her. He wanted to run after her himself but Richard stopped him, saying that running after her will only fan the fires that spread the rumours circulating in the kingdom.  "Has the strategic team found out who started that rumour yet?" Aiden asked from behind his desk.  "Not yet, your Highness, but they are almost there," Richard responded. "Something about this escape does not feel right. The underground dungeon is the most secure prison after the one in the Supreme capital.  "Even with the festivities, it should have been near impossible to escape. And from how easily he escaped, I can not stop wondering if he had not escaped on purpose. He used a virus on the guards right?"  "Yes, Your Highness," Richard answered.  "If he had this virus all the while

CHAPTER FORTY-EIGHT

Diana   "ARE YOU SURE you do not want me to go with you?" Diana asked Robin for the nth time.  Robin put his backpack down with a sigh and walked over to Diana on the bed. He pulled her to her feet, and using his fingers, he straightened out the frown on her forehead.  "As I told you the other times you asked, I will be alright, Ana. Do not worry you can not get rid of me so easily," he smiled.  "But…" she began, but ran out of words to complain, then settled on pouting.  "But nothing. Now wipe that pout off your face, little sister, it does not suit you," he teased, letting her fall back on the bed.  On hearing a sniffle from the corner, he turned to the other overgrown child.  "Dolphy, are you crying?" He cooed, as Rudolph threw his pink face away.  "No, dust just

CHAPTER FORTY-NINE

Diana    LEAVING THE VAMPIRE kingdom with Rudolph, Diana travelled to the Moonshine pack, or rather, what was left of the pack.    To see if anything might come up about retrieving one's Wolf, Aiden suggested that the answers might lie in one of the werewolf books. And books of those kind were only find in the Moonshine Library.   The Pack library was built beside the military zone which was the area, most destroyed by the zombies. The sight of the wreck made Diana's jaws clench in anger.    "They are all gone now, Ana, you had your revenge," Rudolph said, noticing her rising anger.    "I know," she agreed. "But the mastermind is still out there."    "We will get him soon, I believe we will," he assured her, as he stood beside her in the wreck that was once a beautiful pack.    "Only then will my mind be at p

CHAPTER FIFTY

Aiden   PATIENCE WAS ONE of several virtues Aiden had and was proud of but tolerance was not any of them. There was a very close limit to what Aiden could bear, and disturbance was the height of it.    "Let's say I decide to indulge you, what do you expect to gain from this... uh... friendship?" Aiden asked carefully.    "Does one have to have a motive for everything?" Katherine responded.    "Every decision has a reason behind it. It could be instinctual or thoughtful, reasonable or unreasonable. Either way, a reason is a motive."    Katherine stared at him dreamily. "I am lucky to have you as my king."    Aiden almost broke character and rolled his eyes but held himself. "That does not answer my question. So, what is your motive, Lady Katherine?"    "I wish to bring back what we used to have before you beca
